AYM School Rishikesh is a non-profit organization that offers yoga teacher training for qualified yoga teachers who can spread the benefits of yoga to society.
Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji was born in a Vedic family where all the members used to chant Vedic mantras and practice yoga daily. In 1984, he became the champion of yoga sports in Haryana Province. In college, he studied the bio-science stream with yoga as an optional subject and also the master of education which gives him an upper hand while teaching and explaining yoga anatomy and physiology. He finished a Master of Science degree in yoga in 2003 and engaged in imparting yoga teacher training. He became the founder secretary of the Association for Yoga and Meditation in 2005.
Yogacharya Mahesh Bhatt has done a P.G. Diploma and Master in Yogic Sciences. He was awarded a Gold medal due to his excellent academic performance. He is currently teaching Yoga Therapy along with Ayurveda and Philosophy.
Jayakumaran began his yogic journey in 2007. He emphasized on becoming a yoga master focusing on spiritual yoga, yoga precision, and alignment. He then met Parveen Nair to guide him further on Iyengar Yoga and became his student. He studied 3 years Iyengar yoga method and also attended many yoga workshops which were run by Parveen Nair and Rina Ortiz which enhanced his knowledge and practice.
Sachin's yoga classes embody joyful practice while focusing on individualized alignment. He encourages linking breath to movement to cultivate a deep awareness of each movement and asana. Sachin strives to offer his students a space to safely explore the mind-body connection within a comfortable and non-competitive practice. Sachin's yoga style is a fun, intense, dynamic Ashtanga Flow, aiming to explore yoga poses that connect through attention to Ujjayi (breath), bandhas (internal locks) and Drishti (gazing point).

"AYM Juillet 2019"
Cela manque de feed-back.

"Excellent yoga training"
My overall impression of AYM training school was of a professional, well run organisation. The emphasis is on providing an authentic yoga experience with excellent teachers in a fun and friendly environment. The course is intensive and is physically, mentally and emotionally demanding. However, throughout the course as friendships and relationships developed, a strong support network built up amongst the students and this is something I appreciate and hope will stay with me as I progress on my yoga journey.

"Valuable time for teaching courses "
Had amazing 7 days at this school, meeting great people from all over the world and taking courses by great teachers. Although the schedule is pretty packed from 7am to 7pm, I had enough time to explore the town.
About 15 min walk from the town center and there are many nice cafes around.

"100% A+"
The entire campus staff at AYM is there for your growth, learning, and success. It's a rigorous course, which is what you want and crave from a 300 hour program. The instructors are incredible and truly care about the students and the learning. A lot of time and consideration has gone into creating this training program, and it shows in every little detail.

The teachers are great and very knowledgable. You will learn how to teach yoga the authentic way and as a lifestyle - not just a practice. You will make amazing international friends. The staff are friendly and the Manager, Rupesh, is considerate and helpful.

"An amazing school if you want to be a yoga teacher!"
I loved my experience at AYM! All of the instructors are absolutely amazing, the quality of the yoga education is unparalleled. I feel prepared to begin my journey as a yoga teacher. I also had an unreal group of peers to share the month with, which helped a lot. The food is very good quality and everything is clean. There is even a cool little cafe in the garden to relax in inbetween classes and grab a smoothie, juice, or coffee. Rishikesh is an awesome environment to learn yoga, and AYM is a great school.

"Overall amazing experience"
Amazing teachers and very inspiring and supportive cohort. All the asana and theory lessons are great. We built a community here. The location is great. The ashram is located on a hill, away from the busy mean road. So it was peaceful and quiet outside of the ashram. We could hear birds singing every morning.

"Hatta yoga class was so nice. "
Everything was better than expected.
All staffs are kind and peaceful area.
It’s good for yoga retreat course.
Hatta teacher , JAYA JI is my favorite teacher , I’m lucky to meet him and learned a lot.
Mantra class was wonderful even though feel tired after a day program. I’ll never forget the moment Mantra chanting together.
And Hatta& Ashtanga yoga practice, we seperated 2 groups because of 40 overs June Batch. It was good only 15-20 students in a class.
In Philosophy lecture, I learned a lot and realized what’s the Yogi & Yogis life.
Thank you, AYM

"200 hr ytt "
I loved the teachers at the school, they were very intelligent, thorough and helpful. The schedule they provide is rigorous but so worth it. They focus just as much on philosophy as physical asanas covering many important topics. I heard from many people it’s one of the best yoga schools in Rishikesh. The location is great walking distance to the river and town plus lots of good food close by!

The location is great. The school is located up on Tapovan hill (the way to get there is pretty steep!) far away from the noise of the city, but still reachable by foot. The yoga center is great, with a beautiful garden and a little bar where they serve coffee and juices. The rooms are clean and bright. The yoga hall is big and bright, even though a bit dusty.
The Hatha Yoga teacher (Jaya) is EXCELLENT, very knowledgeable, with a focus on alignement.

I had an amazing experience, the teachers were well informed and great to learn from. The accommodation was good and I had everything I needed. The food was better then I expected and they tried to keep a variation of food to enjoy. The location was great, because it was away from the city centre which provides calm when you are there. I also enjoyed the people who came to AYM, they were like minded people who wanted to learn about yoga and concentrate on self develop, I truly believe I have made some friends for life. I was nervous about going to India but when it was time to go I was so sad to say bye to such amazing people.
