It is an advanced course for students who have successfully completed the 200-hour yoga teacher training course. AYM School Rishikesh is located in soothing and serene surroundings of Himalayas which is a wonderful view to have in Rishikesh. It is set back in the stunning location of Tapovan, Rishikesh and is surrounded by beautiful mountains, waterfalls, and supreme tranquility. For your intensive yoga teacher training, there is a beautiful bright studio with big windows on all sides where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the breath-taking mountains and hills surrounding the accommodation.
All 30 of the rooms at the ashram are new and comfortable. They all come with an attached private washroom as well as warm water. All rooms will have a wonderful, big window facing towards the mountains. The room has air-conditioning, filtered water system, bed sheets, pillows, towels, blankets, and en-suite bathrooms.
Ashrams usually represent a return to a simpler way of living, which is very different to a hotel. Generally there is a more communal atmosphere and often an expectation that guests will pitch in with whatever needs doing.

Outline of syllabus
Module - 1: Concept and Meaning of Yoga Therapy
History of yoga therapy Characteristics of yoga therapy, Principles and the basis of yoga therapy Integrated approach of yoga therapy. Physiology of stress management through yoga. Yoga for a common psychosomatic ailment like back pain, Yoga for Sciatica Yoga for Diabetes, high blood pressure, Asthma, yoga for IBS, constipation and many other diseases, yoga in pregnancy, prenatal yoga and post-natal yoga. This module will be taken in one hour class every day usually in the evening. Yoga Master first explains the concept of the disease and then connects it with yoga to heal the body.
Module - 2: Yoga Philosophy
In this section, the teacher will take yoga sutras for an explanation. Yoga sutra is an advanced philosophy, and there are four chapters in it. The teacher will select the main sutras from each section and will discuss with commentary. This module is taken in one hour class every day.
Module - 3: Yoga Anatomy
In this segment, we connect different systems to yoga healing. We discuss systems such as Skeletal System, Muscular System, Introduction of Fascia, Nervous system, Endocrine System, Respiratory System, Circulatory System, and Prenatal Yoga.
Module - 4: Static Multi-style
Concept and meaning of static Multi-style such as Iyengar yoga, restorative yoga, and Sivananda yoga. Yoga through rope, chair, blocks, bolster and other props. This module is taken in 90 minutes class every day in which the instructor explains details of asana, its alignment, and props.
Module - 5: Dynamic Multi-style
Concept and meaning of dynamic Multi-style such as Ashtanga Vinyasa series, Power and flow Yoga, Hatha Vinyasa, this module will be taken in morning time every day for 90 minutes and teacher explains about different types of lessons of dynamic Yoga.
Module - 6: Kriya or Detoxification
This module will be taken on every alternate day for one hour class in the early morning. The teacher will explain first the process of every detoxification technique, and then practice will be conducted.
Module - 7: Teaching Practice
Teaching Methodology and principles of teaching, teaching practice. An expert instructor around noon time will take this module. In this class teacher first ask for fundamental teaching practice, and after that, he will take towards challenging lesson planning and teaching. This class ranges from one 60 to 90 minutes every day.
Module - 8: Pranayama and Meditation
Pranayama, meditation After learning basic pranayama and meditation in 200 hour yoga teacher training this module focus on the advanced level of pranayama and meditation techniques. This class usually one hour every day in the morning.
Module - 9: Mantra Chanting
In this module basic and advanced level mantra chanting and learning will be taken every alternate day in the evening before sleeping. It helps in stress-free sleeping and develops healthy sleeping habits.

Instructors
Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji
Yogi Chetan Mahesh Ji was born in a Vedic family where all the members used to chant Vedic mantras and practice yoga daily. In 1984, he became the champion of yoga sports in Haryana Province. In college, he studied the bio-science stream with yoga as an optional subject and also the master of education which gives him an upper hand while teaching and explaining yoga anatomy and physiology. He finished a Master of Science degree in yoga in 2003 and engaged in imparting yoga teacher training. He became the founder secretary of the Association for Yoga and Meditation in 2005.

Bharat Tilekar is a yoga instructor and Continuing Education provider.

During the course, three times proper and nutritious meal is served to the students as the practice of yoga courses require and healthy body and mind. A pure vegetarian meal is served three times a day i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner which is prepared hygienically. AYM School Rishikesh emphasize the yogic food for all our students.
A variety of unlimited food is served during the course to the students with the herbal tea, which is served three times a day. Herbal tea is good for the health and is a refreshment for the students.

Arrival by airplane
Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is the entry point to India for every international flight. As there is no direct flight to Rishikesh, you need to take another flight to Dehradun Airport (DED) to reach Rishikesh if you wish to travel via airplane. Upon arrival at Dehradun Airport (DED), you will need to fetch a taxi to AYM School Rishikesh. AYM School Rishikesh can arrange a pick up taxi from the airport and the cost is 80 USD (for a single traveller) and 60 USD per person for two travellers from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). From Dehradun Airport (DED) the cost is 20 USD per person.
Arrival by bus
To reach Rishikesh from Delhi via bus, you need to go to an ISBT bus stand. The bus ride will take around seven to eight hours.
Arrival by train
If you wish to travel by train, you will need to take a train from Delhi Railway Station to Haridwar. From there, you can fetch a bus to Rishikesh. The distance from Haridwar to Rishikesh is approximately 29 kilometers.
Arrival by taxi
AYM School Rishikesh can arrange a pickup from Delhi or Dehradun Airport (DED). The cost of taxi transfer from Delhi is 80 USD per person per way for a private transfer and 60 USD per person per way for a shared ride. From Dehradun Airport (DED), the taxi pickup is 20 USD per person.
