In this 18 days Everest Base Camp yoga trek, you will trek with a very good yoga instructor. You will do yoga every day during your trekking. In the morning and you will practice pranayama and meditation every evening. Yoga is the medium to know the self. It is the journey of inside and trekking is the journey of outside. If you combine both, it will be the sublime creation. Trekking and yoga is related to each other. Trekking also helps you to relax your body and yoga also can help you to get relaxed but yoga is not only for relaxing. Yoga has its higher purpose to find the self. Trekking can be a part of yoga and yoga can fulfill the gap in the trekking.

Why yoga in a trek?

Yoga is the medium of entering the self and it helps us to find out the meaning of life. We trek for refreshment and to entertain. In surface, it seems that both can satisfy us for our desire to be happy. But in higher level, yoga has its own purpose to purify our body, mind and spirit. Trekking can be one part of yoga, but it is not a complete medium to get purified. If we combine both in one place, then the purpose of yoga may be met in some aspect.

Yoga is not only the process to connect our body with our mind, but it can connect us to the higher self. Yoga can make us physically, mentally, spiritually and socially healthy. It can increase the memory power of the person who does it regularly. It helps us to get free from all types of stress and tension. It increases the personal power in every field of human life. It can build up self awareness of the person. It can remove the negative toxins from our body which is the cause of every disease.

  • Leisure day in Namche Bazaar

  • Namche Bazaar to Phortse Thanga (3840m)

  • Phortse Thanga (3840m) to Machhermo (4470m)

Day 8

  • Machhermo to Gokyo (4700 m)

Day 9

  • Gokyo Valley Acclimation Day trek to Gokyo Ri (5,357 m)
  • Yoga in the morning and breakfast
  • Pranayama and Meditation in the evening

Day 10

  • Gokyo to Thagnak (4700 m)
  • Yoga in the morning and breakfast
  • Pranayama and Meditation in the evening

Day 11

  • Trek from Thangnak (4700 m) to Cho La Pass (5,420 m) to Dzongla (43,80m)
  • Yoga in the morning and breakfast
  • Pranayama and Meditation in the evening

Day 12

  • Dongla to Lobuche (4,930 m) trekking. It's comparatively easy walking.

Day 13

  • Trek from Lobuche (4,930 m) to Everest Base Camp to Gorakshep (5,170 m)
  • Yoga in the morning and breakfast
  • Pranayama and Meditation in the evening

Day 14

  • Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar (5,545m) to Pheriche (4,240 m)
  • Yoga in the morning and breakfast
  • Pranayama and Meditation in the evening

Day 15

  • Periche to Namche Bazaar (3,440 m)
  • Yoga in the morning and breakfast
  • Pranayama and Meditation in the evening

Day 16

  • Trek from Namche Bazaar (3,440 m) to Lukla (2,830 m)
  • Yoga in the morning and breakfast
  • Pranayama and Meditation in the evening

Day 17

  • Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

  • Your 18th day of 18 days Everest Base Camp yoga trek will be departure day to your home country from Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal. We wish your very safe journey.

  • The charge for accommodation in Kathamndu in you early arrival before the trip will not be included and also the late departure. Moreover, the early departure from trek will also not included in our expense.
  • We also don’t include the cost of international flights.
  • The trip doesn’t offer the travel and rescue insurance.
  • We also don’t include the phone calls, laundry, bar bills, battery recharge, poter cost if you want to hire porter etc.
  • We also don’t offer tips for guides and porters.

How to get there

Driving directions from Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM)

From the airport, take the Balaju Bypass then to Fulbari Gate (Najarjun gate).

Continue to Goldhunga road just 650 meters ahead.

In left side, there is big house with sign board of The Tour Trek Travel Nepal (also known as 'The trek Nepal'). It takes just 30 minutes from airport to The Trek Nepal Nepal if there is no traffic jam.

  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
