Designed by a Vogue featured stylist, Casita de Cristales has everything you need to experience the magic of Costa Rica in comfort and style.
Crystal grids
Casita de Cristales was built intentionally, with a specific sacred geometry crystal grid buried underneath the ground, providing potent healing and conscious energies to support your well-being. Part of this grid allows you to sleep on a sacred geometry rose quartz merkaba. It's a very unique experience, enhancing your sleep quality and state of mind, providing a deep, blissful night of rest to wake up balanced and calm.
All of The Portal structures as well as the labyrinth are also gridded.
Biogeometry
Casita de Cristales is energy balanced with biogeometry, involving a specific calibration and placement of biogeometry shapes and tools to qualitatively balance biological energy systems and harmonize their interactions with the environment.
As you slowly drive up the steep paved entrance approaching The Portal's gate, their friendly Buddhist monk will greet and watch over you as you walk through the property's labyrinth.
Casita In The Sky
Turn the corner and come home to your casita in the sky. Stroll down 11 steps to your 180° ocean vista, and relax on your fully covered terrace. You will enjoy many moments there, snacking on exotic fruits, watching the clouds roll in, and gazing at the most colorful rainbow horizon.
As you open the floor to ceiling sliding glass doors, discover a truly remarkable space created by a Vogue magazine featured fashion stylist and interior designer.
Your luscious queen bed is soft and inviting, set against Spanish tiles. There is a separation wall behind it to create more spaces for you to discover.
On the other side is a full workspace, with three stools looking directly at the crystal framed Pacific Ocean to give you the best view at all moments.
You will find an airy and open kitchen and living space, with laurel wood beams and framed Portal windows. Your walk-in closet is complete with a hanging rod and shelves, as well as a changing curtain and gold hooks for your convenience. The Portal invites you to unpack, unwind, and make yourself at home.
The ocean wave bathroom has all you need: full-length mirror, cabinets for storage, and a shower floor designed with ocean rocks and shells, completely soft to the touch. The luxury rain shower includes a picture window, to gaze at the iconic Manuel Antonio as you listen to the sounds of nature.
The open air covered terrace overlooks the majestic expansive ocean, incredible cloud formations, and blue skies. You will see unique fruit trees border the property where the toucans gather and say hello, their tree of life - a perfect replica of this iconic symbol, and a hammock to relax, read, and nap in on a tranquil afternoon.
Outside along the side of the house, you will find an outdoor shower, with the same ocean rock shower floor as inside, and even more stunning views of the Pacific ocean and Manuel Antonio.
The casita has been designed to maximize indoor / outdoor living.
Your oasis shares the pure energy solstice line of the equator, and showcases one of the best views on the entire property. It has everything you need for your "home away from home" Costa Rican experience.
A short walk leads you to The Portal Santosha Temple & meditative labyrinth (less than 50 feet). The Santosha Temple is a devotional, peaceful oasis where most of your facilitation will take place. It is crystal gridded and brings in inspiration from Bali, India, Turkey, and Costa Rica to elevate your experience.
Our Labyrinth walking is an ancient practice used by many different faiths for spiritual centering, contemplation, and prayer. Enter the serpentine path of the labyrinth, under agradecida, the grandmother tree of The Portal, and walk slowly to quiet your mind, focusing on a question or prayer. Use this labyrinth as a tool to “unwind the mind,” and release any stress or worries from the past.
This very special land is located on the mountain ridge and has been designed to take full advantage of the ocean and mountain breezes. It has perfect temperature all year round.

The Portal Costa Rica offers three curated daily workshops, wellness treatments, nature, connection time, and healing. There will also be time to journal, lay in your private hammock, and rest.
Each day starts with a rising somatic movement practice of yoga that is catered to your needs, breathwork, guided meditation.
We enjoy three nourishing and delicious meals together expertly prepared by a culinary private chef and enjoy tailored workshops based on your personal intentions for the retreat.

This high-vibrational five acre property, aptly named The Portal, is your gateway to a once-in-a-lifetime journey in the lush, untouched jungle of the Southern Pacific. This retreat takes place in the mountains of Portalón, a cute local town which is in the Puntarenas Province of Costa Rica. We are 20 minutes from surf town Dominical, 30 minutes from famous Manuel Antonio National Park, 40 minutes to Uvita, and a few hours drive from one of the most bio-diverse places in the world, the OSA Peninsula.
Perched high atop the mountain, nestled among the trees, you will find Casita de Cristales, a bungalow overlooking spectacular panoramic ocean views of the breathtaking landscape of Costa Rica, known as the country of "pura vida" - pure life. It holds an extremely high frequency due to its beautiful nature, living life to the fullest mentality, and a place where everyone can enjoy a high quality of life.
This location has been intentionally anchored with Sacred Geometry placed Crystal Grids underneath all the structures, Bio Geometry calibration & harmonization, and a ceremonial blessing by the largest and last indigenous tribe of Costa Rica, the Bribri.

Please book your flight to arrive at Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). The Portal can arrange a private car service directly to them. Transfer costs an additional 175 USD. From San Jose airport, the car service will a three-hour ride.
Alternatively, you may also book a domestic 15-minute internal flight to Quepos La Managua Airport (XQP), and then take a taxi to The Portal. Transfers and flights are not included.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 25% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
