The 300 hours of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Course runs under the supervision of the course's director, Shree Hari Ji. He applies his solid experience and knowledge, in order to deepen the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practice, combining it with alignment techniques from the Iyengar style and therapeutic benefits of Yoga. The Shree Hari Yoga School teaches how to cure disease with yoga, as well as an Ashram lifestyle, which is healthy for happy living and stress release. Make your passion your profession. This multi-style yoga teacher training is a compact, profound, and certified yoga teacher training, which deepens your practice and knowledge in a wide stream of yoga.
You can choose to stay either in a shared or private room.
Given the highly experienced yoga teachers to guide you, Shree Hari Yoga School wishes to take you on a learning journey through yoga, showing you how to live a yogic lifestyle. They aim to deepen your knowledge and understanding of yoga, helping you to connect with your true nature, both spiritually and physically.
In understanding this true nature you can begin to work in harmony with your mind, body and spirit, hence reaching your highest potential whether this is through teaching yoga or as a yoga practitioner. This 300-hour teacher training course includes different styles of yoga like Sivananda, power, flow, vinyasa, raja yoga and yoga therapy.
Note: the schedule above is applied for 6 days a week. The evening activities include meditation, Japa meditation, spiritual documentaries, kirtans, and satsangs.
Please note that the 300-hour yoga teachers certification is open for anyone who is interested in learning the ancient science of health and spirituality after finishing 200-hour yoga teacher training course at any yoga school. It is available for all of those who have some past experience with yoga, although your eligibility will be assessed after you send us the application form.
Guru Hari was raised by a Nepalese father and Indian mother in a cross-cultural context near Rishikesh. From an early age, Hari rejoiced in and sung mantra. Presently, Guru Hari teaches a traditional Hatha yoga combined with classical knowledge, experiential understanding, and wisdom, as well as a modern outlook. This style of yoga teaching by Guru Hari is essentially a Nath lineage tradition. Guru Hari is also a chef of Ayurvedic food which is known in yogi terminology as sattvic food.
Dharamshala is located in Himachal Pradesh, Northern India and is surrounded by dense coniferous forest consisting mainly of Deodar cedar trees. The suburbs include McLeodGanj, Bhagsunath, Dharamkot and Naddi. The beautiful hills surrounding this area are covered by pine, Himalayan oak and rhododendron flowers.Dharamshala is the centre of the Tibetan exile world in India. Following the 1959 Tibetan uprising there was an influx of Tibetan refugees who followed the 14th Dalai Lama. His presence and the Tibetan population has made Dharamshala a popular destination for Indian and foreign tourists, including students studying Tibet.
You will be served three daily Satvic vegetarian meals.
One of the main attractions of Dharamshala is Triund hill. Being considered the jewel of Dharamshala, Triund is a one-day trek at the upper reaches of McLeodGanj, about 9 kilometers from McLeodGanj. You can also go to the waterfalls, Buddhist temple, Dalai Lama home, as well as the holy temples during your free time.
Please book your flight to arrive at Dharamshala Gaggal Airport (DHM), which is about 12 kilometers south from Dharamshala and about 10 kilometers north of Kangra, Himachal Pradesh town. The nearest airports are Chandigarh International Airport (IXC) and Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL).
To reach Dharamshala by train, one has to reach Kangra, Himachal Pradesh town by Kangra Valley Railway line from Pathankot, which is 94 kilometers away and then take a bus or a taxi. Pathankot is a broad gauge railway head. There is another railway line from Pathankot to Jogindernagar, a part of the Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh, which is a narrow-gauge line. The nearest station to Dharamshala on this line is Chamunda Marg, half an hour away, where a Shaktipitha is; the town is well connected by road to other parts of the country.
