You will spend your nights at Jeev Muktidham Retreat. You will find a yoga hall, meditation area, supply of hot water in the rooms, nutritious traditionally prepared food, wi-fi, several fruit trees, a backyard garden, sound healing, sauna bath. The homestay will serve you in any way possible.
The venue also has a beautiful garden, and a green mountain view, and is located near a jungle and waterfall. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with an attached bathroom.
Program
Yoga posture classes at Jeev Muktidham Yoga Ashram are based on both classical Hatha yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. The teachers are unique, steeped in ancient knowledge, and also trained in modern teaching methods. All classes are adapted for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
Apart from the yoga asana classes, you can participate in sessions on pranayama (understanding and regulating your breath), Pratyahara (internalization of sensory inputs), Dharana (concentration), Dhyana (meditation) processes drawn from the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - the ancient yogic doctrine that aims to integrate your body, mind, heart, and souls for complete living.
Twice daily group yoga sessions and one daily meditation session are included in the stay for you.

Sample daily schedule
Day 1
Check into Jeev Muktidham Retreat with the yoga retreat center. Lunch, tea, and rest. There will be an evening yoga class before dinner after dinner tea and after rest.
Day 2
Start your day with a cup of herbal Ayurveda tea, Jalneti (nasal cleansing), morning yoga class, breakfast, and hiking (2 to 4 hours). You will have your lunch at the home. There will be evening yoga before dinner, tea, and chanting with fire bedtime.
Day 3
Your last day starts with tea, Jalneti, morning yoga class, Baidhik Hawan (fire puja) breakfast tea and rest, and check out.
Subject will be changed during the month and hiking trail.

Yogi Divyanand Sarasawti
Yogi Divayanand Sarasawti (RYT 200) has trained at the "Gurukul Mean A traditional Spiritual School of India" in Varanshi, Haridwar, and Rishikesh. He is well-versed and experienced in yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, as well as traditional healing (Reiki) meditation methods and has been teaching for a number of years all over India and out of India. He continues to serve and share his knowledge and experience with students from all over the world. Students find enjoyment and deeper truths through his playful and empathic attitude toward self-discovery.
Yogi Ashish Portal
Yogi Ashish (E-RYT 500) has been trained in Ashtanga, and has also trained in classical Hatha in the lineage and tradition of the great Himalayan masters. Adopting the Ashtanga and Hatha sequencing into modern-day Vinyasa Flow Ashish. He prides himself on focusing on sequencing alignment of the physical body and most importantly the breath, pranayama, and kriya to cleanse and move dense energy in the body and mind to release the kundalini energy that resides at the base of the spine.

Jeev Muktidham retreat is located on a high hill, it has a very clean environment with its natural resources and is covered with forests. It is renowned for its spectacular sunrise and sunset view of the Himalayas when the weather is clear.

Food
During this retreat, you will be served three daily meals of freshly cooked vegetarian food that are provided in the dining area overlooking the mountains.
The retreat strives to provide nourishing, clean, and tasty vegetarian food. The JMD gets about 75 percent of its foods (depending on the season) directly from the organic farm. The food is prepared in traditional Nepalese fashion with a wood fire on an earthen stove. During the retreat, you can also enjoy all the fruits that are available from the trees.
The kitchen will also accommodate any special dietary needs. If you wish to learn how to make the food at the homestay, you are always welcome to assist in the kitchen. The menu varies daily and typically includes the following:

Ayurvedic herbal tea, porridge with dates and raisins or coconut, bananas, papaya, or chickpeas. Other breakfast offerings may include samosa, parantha uppama, and Nepalese breakfast.

Tribhuvan International Airport

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). The airport is just 45 minutes away from Kathmandu City (Thamel). From there, you can take either a local bus (from Ratnapark) or hire a car. Upon your request, they can arrange a taxi, car, or van for you. Please contact Jeev Muktidham for more information about the airport transfer.
Arrival by bus
There are buses from many locations in Kathmandu (Ratnapark or Bagbazar) to Kamalbinayak (Bhaktapur) bus stand and you have to change. Other buses from Kamalbinayak (Bhaktapur) to Kharipati Down Phedi (400 meters from Kharipati Police Stand). From Kathmandu (Thamel) by local bus
- Bagbajar (Bhaktapur Bus Park) it's near Thamel around 25 minute's walk
- Ask "Kamalbinayak Bus"
- Go to Kamalbinayak (bus fair 40 NRS)
- When you are in Kamalbinayak. ask Nagarkot bus park (it's a 2-minute walk)
- Ask "Telkot" bus
- From Kamalbinayak to Kharipati 4 kilometers (400 meters far from the Police Office) bus charges 25 NRS
- When you are in Telkot. ask anybody Bastola Gav (2 minutes walk)
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
