Arrival by Airplane

  • You may book your flight to Jolly Grant Airport (DED), Dehradun, which is the nearest airport (around 40–45 minutes from the ashram).
  • Pick-up from Jolly Grant Airport is not included, but the school can arrange a taxi upon request for 25 UDS (one way).
  • If you arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL), Delhi, the school can arrange a direct taxi transfer to Rishikesh for 70 USD (one way).
  • For arrivals at Chandigarh Airport (IXC), the school can arrange a taxi transfer for 100 USD (one way).

Arrival by Bus

  • From Delhi, you can take a Volvo or deluxe government/private bus to Rishikesh.
  • Buses generally operate until 9:00 p.m., so check your flight timing accordingly.
  • The journey from Delhi to Rishikesh is approximately 6 hours (250 km), though delays may occur due to traffic or festivals.
  • The Rishikesh bus stand is only 15 minutes from the ashram.

Arrival by Train

  • Several trains run daily between Delhi and Rishikesh / Haridwar.
  • It is recommended to book tickets through the official Indian Railways website or app for accurate schedules and secure payments.

Gurukul Yogashala provide paid transportation services from Haridwar and Rishikesh bus stands and railway stations. If you arrive at Nepali Farm by bus, they can also arrange a taxi pickup from there.
