Over the course of four years, they built Tierra Encantada from conception to its most current state of completion “This is a multidimensional dream that is constantly evolving”. They built infrastructure, and water systems and installed eco-septic solutions such as Bio Nest. Every detail from the stones lining the paths to the retainer walls was consciously brought to fruition. The property features 9 casitas, 3 glamping platforms with tents, a Yoga Shala, a kitchen/restaurant, and a 1400 ft2 spa facility, all of which were built prioritizing eco-friendly building practices such as hempcrete and reclaimed wood. They installed solar systems on the main house and the spa.

Land preservation and harmonizing with the land contour was a priority when building Tierra Encantada. In the instances where tree removal was necessary, they prioritized saving mature trees and planted over 1000 native trees (some fruit-bearing) in a reforestation effort. With the help and counsel of their resident permaculture expert, Osiris, they designed Biodynamic gardens and greenhouses that follow sustainable cultivation practices.
