The word 'Hatha' is made of the roots, 'ha' meaning 'sun', and 'tha' meaning 'moon', and that the term was chosen to convey the idea that in your physical practices. Rishikesh Yoga Association is striving to integrate the 'solar' and 'lunar' energies of the body. These two major flows of energies are known as 'pingla' nadi and 'ida' nadi.
