Rishikesh Yoga Association offers 200-hour Hatha yoga teacher training courses based on traditional Hatha yoga. It is a residential Hatha yoga course ideal for practitioners of all levels who are looking to explore and deepen their practices, learn the art of teaching, and experience the ancient science of Hatha yoga. Hatha yoga is one of the most of the common form of yoga and as well base of all modern forms of yoga you have nowadays. But more commonly, the true concept of Hatha is still unknown to many people.
Students will be staying at Rishikesh Yoga Association during the course period. The school is privileged with a location that is close to the famous Laxman Jhula bridge and the local market of Rishikesh. They have twin shared rooms and private rooms for the students who will be staying here during the course. The rooms are spacious, bright, and outward-facing rooms. The room comes with two separate beds in twin shared accommodation and a big single bed in private accommodation.
Both categories of rooms are fully equipped with an attached bathroom with a western toilet and hot shower, a balcony with a mountain view, and an independent entrance. Students are offered a bed sheet, pillow cover, towel, toilet paper, blanket, and high-speed Wi-Fi during their course of stay.
The word 'Hatha' is made of the roots, 'ha' meaning 'sun', and 'tha' meaning 'moon', and that the term was chosen to convey the idea that in your physical practices. Rishikesh Yoga Association is striving to integrate the 'solar' and 'lunar' energies of the body. These two major flows of energies are known as 'pingla' nadi and 'ida' nadi. By the practice of Hatha yoga, you focus on bringing the balance of these two nadis because all physical and mental function happens through these nadis.
Once, you are able to balance both flow (pingla and ida) third most important nadis which is known as Sushumna Nadi get activated. The activation of Sushumna Nadi allows the Kundalini (dormant energy) to rise up through the Sushumna Nadi. These training courses include the study of theories and practices of Hatha yoga asanas, pranayama, meditation, Kriyas, and alignment and adjustment workshop by their highly experienced teachers.
This course will prepare you with all the tools and confidence you need to become a yoga teacher and will inspire you forward on your personal yoga journey.
All classes are mandatory for students. In case of illnesses or emergencies, the student can take leave with due permission from the concerned teacher. Leaves without reasons won't be accepted and this will severely affect the monthly performance of the student.

Being a Rishikesh local, he has been practicing yoga since childhood and teaching for more than 7 years.
Yogi Sadhushri Ji is our meditation teacher. He is also a recognized and certified healing teacher in Rishikesh. He owes his yogic knowledge to great yoga masters. His calm mind and strong learning helps him to teach the art of meditation to his students. He has a friendly nature which lets students interact with him easily and become comfortable during class. His experience with yoga meditation and yoga philosophy has made him one of the finest teachers of our school. Sadhushri Ji believes learning is a never-ending process and that we can always learn something from one another.
Yogi Vikas Ji is the pranayama, mantra, and shatkarma teacher. He specializes in teaching pranayama and also facilitates yogic cleansing for all students. He also holds a master's degree in yogic science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University. With years of experience in learning and teaching, he has become a master of advanced pranayama skills. His techniques are particularly beneficial for people suffering from psychological issues. Those who have attended his classes have noticed a visible improvement in their health in a short period.
Starting his Yogic journey in 2011 from the World's Yoga capital Rishikesh, Yogi Abhishek Negi Ji successfully completed his Post-Graduate Diploma in Yoga Science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University instituted in Haridwar, India.It was in his genes to enjoy and explore the great ancient art of yoga! Yogi Abhishek Negi Ji studied and practiced Yoga under the able guidance of famous and experienced Yoga Gurus. Along with his yoga study, he also assists many gurus with their classes.

Food that tends to make one’s body either too lethargic or hyperactive is avoided. Rishikesh Yoga Association makes sure that the kitchen area and the food are clean and hygienic. Also, the food is freshly prepared for immediate consumption because it gives the best results. Consuming the Satvik diet for a few days will automatically satiate your body needs and your body will not crave any unhealthy food.
