Things to do (optional)
Chakra balancing
Feeling out of alignment? This treatment is just what you need. Chakra Balancing therapy works to align and balance the body’s chakras, which are the doorways between the internal energy and the external energy that surrounds.
Theta healing
Unblock restrictive beliefs and discover the best you yet with a Theta healing treatment. Theta healing involves muscle testing by your practitioner while you relax in a natural Theta brainwave state. Practitioners use both intuition and “digging” techniques to work down through layer upon layer of your set beliefs, to uncover their roots. This form of profound testing uncovers deeply held beliefs and restrictive karma holding your physical or emotional issues in place, which can block your access to your full potential.
Chi Nei Tsang
Detoxify your internal organs and clear stagnant energy with a Chi Nei Tsang treatment. This Chinese abdominal massage technique uses Taoist visceral manipulation bodywork to move Chi energy to and through the body. By working mainly on the abdomen with deep, soft, and gentle touch that trains the internal organs to work more efficiently, you’ll notice improvements in all bodily systems, including digestion, respiration, lymphatic, nervous, endocrine, urinary, reproductive, skeleton, and muscular. And it doesn’t stop there: Chi Nei Tsang treatments offer emotional detoxification, since toxic emotions are often stored in the internal organs, making this treatment an excellent addition to any detoxification or fasting program.
Spa treatments
Traditional Thai massage
Let the skilled traditional Thai massage therapists unlock blockages in your body and balance your energy systems with this ancient technique. Thought to date back 2,500 years, Thai massage uses passive stretching, gentle pressure, and rhythmic compression movements along the body’s energy lines to increase flexibility and relieve muscle and joint tension. The treatment is both relaxing and energising, and improves blood circulation and range of motion.
Oil massage
What happens when traditional Thai massage meets western massage techniques and essential oils? A Thai oil massage offers the best of many worlds, using specific therapeutic and relaxing or invigorating essential oils to help your body relax and unwind. Targetting the deep muscle tissues, Thai oil massage helps to relieve pain and tension, remove dead skin cells, stimulate circulation and rid the body of toxins, while soothing the nervous system and restoring balance to the body.
Neck and shoulder massage
5Soothe aching or tight neck, back and shoulder muscles with a neck and shoulder massage. This therapy uses traditional Thai herbal balm or oil and ancient techniques to release knots and tension. Those with limited range of motion in their shoulders or neck will benefit greatly from this massage. Not only is the therapy extremely relaxing — targetting stressed muscles where they need it most — but it stimulates blood flow, improves functioning of the lymph system, and stimulates the release of endorphins.
Reflexology foot massage
Foot reflexology is an ancient healing practice based on the principle that reflex points on the feet correspond to vital organs and glands in the body. The theory is that by manipulating these points on the soles, ankles, toes, and upper part of the foot using traditional techniques, it’s possible to activate these organs and glands to relieve pain, improve circulation, and bring an overall improved balance to the body. Benefits of a reflexology foot massage include increased immunity, improved energy, better sleep, relaxation, pain relief, improved circulation, reduced blood pressure, and relief of congestion.
Abdominal massage
Abdominal massage is an integral — though often forgotten — part of Thai massage therapy. It helps to purify and cleanse the internal organs and restore overall balance in the body, mind, and spirit. During this treatment, your skilled therapist will use gentle rocking movements to connect with and help cleanse your organs and connective tissues that are contained in this very important region of the body.
Ear coning
Have impurities withdrawn from deep inside your inner ears with this safe, ancient practice. During your session, your therapist with place a hollow candle inside your ear and light it on the far side. A cloth is wrapped around your ears for an extra barrier from the candle for your own peace of mind. The herbal smoke draws out physical and emotional debris. Benefits include improved hearing and balance, reduction or cessation of ear aches, reduction of pain in the body by releasing pressure from nerve endings, and auric cleansing with realignment of subtle energy flows.
Mud wrap
Encase your skin with the ultimate natural healing treatment: natural Dead Sea mud contains 21 minerals and trace elements. They work together to rejuvenate, revitalize, and replenish the skin. Further benefits are enjoyed by the mud’s tightening action, which promotes circulation by increasing oxygen supply and removing toxins from the skin, toning, and firming skin tissues, leaving it fresh and radiant. Choose from a facial mud wrap, a body mud wrap, or a combination of the two.
