The comfortable accommodation is arranged in the tea house during the trek (eight nights). For Kathmandu (two nights) and Pokhara (two nights), you will be accommodated in three-star hotels.

Program

The 13-day guided yoga trek to Annapurna base camp is a lifetime experience in the midst of panoramic views of Annapurna. Pass through the lush forest of pine and rhododendron into the famous vantage point, Ghorepani Poonhill. Witness the spectacular sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas as you trek to Annapurna base camp via Macchapuchre base camp. The Annapurna base camp yoga trek is specially designed for yoga lovers.

This trek consists of morning and evening yoga sessions with expert yoga guides. Performing yoga while climbing the mountains and hills will help the participant to ease the difficulties and overcome the challenges. The major highlight of this trek is yoga at the utmost height amidst panoramic views of Annapurna, Macchapuchre, and Himchuli. Cultural and historical exploration of the local village is another activity of this trek.

Daily itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu arrival (1400 meters)

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM), you will be greeted by one of the company representatives. You will be transferred to your hotel and a short briefing about the trek will be done. In the afternoon, a short yoga session will be carried out to refresh you for the next day. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara (900 meters)

After an early morning yoga session, you will be transferred to the city of lakes Pokhara. Pokhara being close to the Himalayas will not fail to amaze you with its incredible views of mountains and Fewa Lake. Walk around the lake and explore the local market if the journey was not way too tiring for you. In the evening, you will have the second yoga session of the day to relax your body. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul (1010 meters), trek to Thikedhunga (1570 meters)

With all yoga and meditation in the morning today, you will start your trek from Naya pul. Trek through the lush green forest of Pine and Cedar. Ups and downs of the trail of Ulleri together with mesmerizing views of mountains will motivate you to walk at a pace before reaching Thikedhunga. After the challenging walk on the hundreds of stone stairs, the only thing that your body wants is another session of yoga to lessen the pain. Overnight in Tikedhunga.

Day 4: Thikedhunga to Ghorepani (2840 meters)

An early morning yoga session will energize you for the day trek to Ghorepani. The trail to Ghorepani is not much challenging. An ancient village in the Himalayas with captivating views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Macchapuchre will give you a warm welcome starting from its gate. Comfortable tea house accommodation, Wi-Fi services, and local market accessibility are some of the facilities available in this place. End your day with some yoga for another active walk tomorrow. Overnight in Ghorepani.

Day 5: Hike to Poonhil (3210 meters), back to Ghorepani, and trek to Tadapani (2630 meters)

After an early morning hike to Poonhill, you will have a refreshing morning yoga session. In amidst the breathtaking views of dozens of mountains and a splendid sunrise view, you will have a blissful morning. Witness the giant silver mountain smiling at you as you perform different yoga postures. Trek down to Ghorepani as you finish your activity and start your next journey to Tadapani. The steep trail with ups and downs, passing through a beautiful forest, you will spend your night at a local lodge after a quick yoga session in the evening. Overnight in Tadapani.

Day 6: Tadapani to Sinuwa (2310 meters)

A beautiful morning near the Himalayas is a perfect place to start your day with yoga that soothes your body and mind. Leaving the trail of Ghandruk, you will now descend towards the deep forest, crossing bridges and rivers along with the astonishing views of the Himalayas, and amazing scenery. A small village in the Himalayas named Sinuwa will await you for your stay. End your day with yoga and let the strain in your calves release. Overnight in Sinuwa.

Day 7: Sinuwa to Deurali (3200 meters)

Another day in the Himalayas together with yoga sessions to improve your body functioning. Today, you will pass through forests making your way to Bamboo. Ascend few hills and spent your night in Sinuwa with another session of yoga. Overnight in Deurali.

Day 8: Deurali to Annapurna base camp (4130 meters)

Finally, you are near to your destination. After the morning yoga session, you will trek to the Macchapuchre base camp. Here, you will be able to witness the majestic views of Macchapuchre together with Annapurna. A quick exploration on base camp and you will head towards your destination Annapurna base camp. Your day ends with an evening yoga session in the base camp. Overnight in Annapurna base camp.

Day 9: Annapurna base camp to Bamboo (2310 meters)

The highlight of your trek is here. Today, you will meditate and perform your yoga postures at the utmost height of this trek. Explore the base camp and witness the breathtaking views of Annapurna before heading back to Bamboo. Descending down the valley, you will walk until you reach Bamboo for your overnight. Do some yoga to stretch your leg for another journey tomorrow. Overnight in Bamboo.

Day 10: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780 meters)

As you trek down to Jhinu today, your trek comes near to the end. A quick morning yoga session and you will climb-ups and down until you reach Chhomrong. Steep drop down the trail and you will reach Jhinu, your overnight stay spot for today. Get on the hot spring bath to refresh and relax your body from all the challenging treks you did in the past days. Another session of yoga and your day ends in Jhinu. Overnight in Jhinu.

Day 11: Jhinu to Pokhara (900 meters)

The last day of your trek is not much challenging. With early morning yoga session, you will trek to Dhampus. The trek takes approximately three to four hours before you reach Pokhara which is another one-hour drive away. Relax in your cozy beds and get a sound sleep in Pokhara after the routine yoga session. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 12: Pokhara to Kathmandu (1400 meters)

After your yoga session, you will be transferred to Kathmandu on a tourist bus. On your arrival in Kathmandu, a dinner will be hosted by the team to celebrate your trip and to thank you for choosing Himalayan Recreation Treks & Expedition P.ltd as your trip partner. You can do yoga before or after dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Departure

Your last day in Nepal ends with an early morning yoga session with their expertise. You will be transferred to the airport three hours prior to your departure.

Annapurna base camp, elevating at the height of 4130 meters, is a popular destination among trekkers as it offers breathtaking views of Annapurna I (8091 meters), Annapurna south (7219 meters), Annapurna III (7555 meters), Macchapuchre (6993 meters), and Himchuli (6441 meters).

Food

During the trek, you will be served three daily delectable vegetarian meals and also the cups of tea or coffee. In Kathmandu, lunch is not included. Choose meals for yourself in Kathmandu. Farewell dinner in an authentic restaurant with a cultural show also included in this package.
