Accommodation
Each room at the Lodge tells a different story. Stories of Vermont. Stories of nature. Stories of time. New stories we hope you will tell after staying with us. But one thing is for sure, they are all designed with comfort and sustainability at the core.
Beyond the walls of the lodge lives a beautiful, thriving forest of hard and softwood trees. Each room is named after the type of tree used for the wood flooring of that room, which is also found in our surrounding forest. Ash, Maple, Birch, etc.
No expense has been spared to supply all guest rooms with organic, non-toxic mattresses and linens from Avocado Green Mattresses, organic towels and robes from Under the Canopy, and Vermont's own natural bath products by Ursa Major. Rest easy, and rest safe.
Program
This retreat offers a devotional and embodied approach to the Seven Points of Mind Training (Lojong), a profound set of teachings passed from Atisha to Tibetan lineage masters. These slogans serve as a practical guide for transforming the mind, cultivating compassion, and awakening spacious, heart-centered awareness. This retreat invites practitioners to live the slogans as somatic truths.
The rhythm of life on retreat:
- Forest-bathed mornings in noble silence
- Strong, fluid vinyasa inspired by the Zen heart
- Yin + Restorative evenings with seasonal wisdom + stillness
- Dharma talks, journaling, and communal inquiry
- Time for solitude, hiking, and soaking in the seasonal beauty
- Shared firelight, nourishing meals, and sangha
