You are welcome in a typical mountain settlement of Ardeche in a charming stone house. The house is surrounded by many terraces with plenty of space to see the sky and you can just hang in the hammock and relax. You will have figs, wine grapes, blackberries, and whatever nature provides at this specific time.

These are a small group of houses and Yogaji always do their best to make you feel at home. You will be all there to grow in true yoga and not for having holidays only. The accommodations are comfortable but it's still not a hotel. So according to your booking and availability, you will sleep in dorms. A real mattress, good blankets, and a pillow will be provided.

The sleeping area is shared. You will also share a toilet and a bathroom and you will have an extra dry toilet and an outside shower to enjoy the view.

Certification

Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).

Overview

Get a full grounded knowledge on Hatha and Ashtanga yoga, and how to teach to beginners according to the standard of Yoga Alliance. You will be able to register as an RYT 200. In this training, you will have theory classes and two Hatha yoga classes daily, asanas, meditation, and pranayama classes.

You will have the opportunity to explore the mountains and the river during your free time, although the teaching and learning keep you busy. It is a profound teaching and an intimate group so to allow the best quality. You will have an early daily practice while following the rhythm of nature. After morning practice, your day is carried by 3 meals, 2 theory teaching, a chill out time, self study, a night meditation, a silent night time, and your Seva time (collective housekeeping activity).

You will find rest in their gardens and enjoy hiking to the village or the river. Yogaji will give you a certification that will follow the standards of Yoga Alliance. Yogaji’s program can be viewed in their Yoga Alliance page under Durga-Ji Yoga. Yogaji follows the standard of Yoga Alliance and enriches it through their experience.

The schedule may be modified if necessary and is just a guideline. Every week there will be one day off. During the course, you will be encouraged to read some fundamental texts of yoga. In the weekend, you will be having a written exam that will test your knowledge about the teaching.

During this yoga teacher training, you can do some activities such as kayaking, biking, and climbing in your free time at additional costs. The teaching will keep you busy. It is beautiful to do yoga. But, there are also many other things which you can discover as well.

You will surely walk in the forest and explore the mountain and fantastic rivers. Your path will cross beautiful villages and beautiful French markets. In the winter, you may enjoy their wooden sauna or exceptional massage treatment on request and with extra costs.

Recommended Airports

Arrival by train

From Lyon-Saint-Exupéry Airport (LYS), you can take a train to Valence. Yogaji can pick you up at Valence Train Station at 20 EUR or you can also pick up a bus from there to Duniere sur Eyrieux. Yogaji will pick you up there and bring you to the center.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 39% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
