Accommodation
You will be staying at spacious bunk style lodges which are heated, carpeted and come complete with bathroom and shower facilities. These lodges have a total capacity of 28 guests with bunk-sleeping arrangements. Each lodge has two sleeping wings and a shared center room.
Program
This retreat’s programs include meditation, yoga and mindfulness, hikes through the fall foliage on 219 acre peninsula off the Chesapeake Bay, high ropes course, horseback riding, sailing, zip lining, kayaking, canoeing and archery. There are also massage sessions, spa services, camp fire circles and a happy hour.
Canoe / kayaking
Launch into the Rhode River for adventure and exploration! Explore Bear Neck and Sellman Muddy Creeks, or take a relaxed paddle over to Flat Island - whatever your desire, YMCA Camp Letts has an abundance of islands and inlets to explore. After a short class from one of the experienced instructors, you can leave on a guided tour or start you own expedition on some of Maryland’s most beautiful waters.
High ropes course
See the world from a new perspective - 35 feet in the air! This course is designed for individuals and teams who want to step outside of their comfort zone and accept a personal challenge that is both physically and mentally inspiring. With the 13-element high ropes course, a challenge can be found for every climber from terrified novice to adventurous dare-devil. Here at YMCA Camp Letts, success is measured by a willingness to try!
Horseback riding
The YMCA Camp Letts Equestrian Center is a 15-stall barn located 30 minutes from Washington, D.C., and Baltimore. The center features miles of waterfront trails, a 100-by-220 foot lighted outdoor ring, cross country jumps, and a small sand dressage arena. The program includes traditional lessons for all levels and ages 8 and up, guided trail rides, Scout badge programs, and an equestrian team for those with competitive aspirations.
Sailing
Being out on the water is the ultimate freedom, one that your child will treasure always. Not only do our sailing lessons empower young sailors, they also help build strength, strategic thinking, resilience and communication. Just 10 miles from the Sailing Capital of the World, YMCA Camp Letts offers programs for novices to sea dogs.
Zip lining
Zoom down our 250 foot zip line through the trees! Experience a safe and thrilling way to enjoy the beauty of camp and nature.

YMCA Camp Letts is located on a 219 acre peninsula off the Chesapeake Bay, overlooking 3 islands and a 2,600 acre preserve. What’s more, the camp is easy driving distance to Annapolis’ beautiful historical seaport, the capital of the United States, and the charming attractions of Baltimore. You get to experience the best of peaceful woodlands and cultural city life at just a stone’s throw!
Food
A healthy diet is an important factor in a successful camp experience. YMCA Camp Letts serves three healthy, well-balanced meals daily in their clean and spacious dining hall. The nutritious menus include daily fresh fruits and low fat milk, a salad bar, and a variety of vegetarian options. Most dietary requirements can be met.

How to get there
Driving directions from Annapolis
- Take Route 2 South (Solomons Island Road) towards Edgewater.
- Take a left onto MD 214 East.
- Go 3 miles and turn right onto Camp Letts Road (shortly after the BP gas station on the left).
- Follow for 1.5 miles into camp.
Driving directions from Baltimore
- Take the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) to I-97 South.
- Take I - 97 to US Route 50 East.
- Follow Route 50 to MD Route 665 then on to MD Route 2 South (all very close).
- Follow Route 2 and make a left turn on MD Route 214 East.
- Go 3 miles then turn right onto Camp Letts Road.
- Follow for 1.5 miles into camp.
Driving directions from Washington
- Take the Washington Beltway (I - 495) to US Route 50 East.
- Exit on MD Route 424 (Davidsonville Road).
- Follow Route 424 and make a left on MD Route 214.
- You will drive about 7 miles until you turn right onto Camp Letts Road.
- Follow for 1.5 miles into camp.

- A reservation requires a deposit of 100% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
