Detox program
At Tambo Ilusion, the environment offers a natural detox from electromagnetic fields, promoting lower electro-stress levels that allow your body to focus on healing rather than combating environmental stressors. Limited internet access also provides a much-needed pause for many guests.
During your detox, our focus is on cleansing the liver, the body's essential workhorse. Aside from the skin, the liver is the largest organ, responsible for over 500 vital functions, more than any other organ. It plays a crucial role in supporting nearly every other organ by purifying the bloodstream—a responsibility held by only one organ, emphasizing the importance of caring for it.
Our cleanse employs a simple and safe technique involving fresh fruit extracts, superfoods, and a balanced vegan, gluten-free diet. This regimen helps eliminate toxins accumulated from diet and environmental factors, offering an excellent opportunity to break from caffeine, smoking, and other harmful habits. At Tambo Ilusion, we follow Dr. Sacha Barrio Healey's liver cleanse protocol.
While adhering to the cleanse's diet and schedule can be challenging in a busy life, our serene environment surrounded by nature facilitates the process. You'll maintain a balanced diet supported by yoga, swimming, and walks, ensuring holistic well-being. Daily rebounding routines aid in flushing out toxins.
The chef prepares healthy, balanced meals excluding animal products, fried foods, processed sugars, and cold drinks. The week-long preparation includes a diet high in alkaline-forming foods and low in fats, crucial for reducing organ stress and preparing for the liver flush on day seven.
