Sri Yoga Ashram provides comfortable single and double accommodation according to the choice of the students. All rooms are equipped with a big double bed or twin beds and basic furniture like chairs and a table. All rooms have attached toilet and bathroom with running hot water facility. There is unlimited Wi-Fi internet for the students.
From the rooftop and yoga shala you get a 360-degree view of mountains and the river Ganga. There is a small library on the ashram premises for students. They provide private and shared accommodation for the students so that they can choose according to their needs and comforts.

Rooms are decently decorated and well maintained. Rooms have fans and windows but are without air conditioners. There is unlimited free Wi-Fi for everyone. Some rooms have a good Ganga view or a hill view, but not all rooms can have great views.

Detailed Vedic astrology syllabus
This course of astrology is based on traditional Vedic astrology that enables the student to understand the 12 houses and 9 planets and their interaction. This course will enable the student to understand the general character and life of any individual by looking at their horoscope.
By the time a student completes the course, he will have more than enough knowledge about astrology to make reasonably correct predictions about anyone. The contents of this course are as follows:

Gaurav Agrawal
Dr. Gaurav Agrawal is the founder and philosophy teacher of Sri Yoga Ashram. He earned a PhD degree in clinical psychology and worked as assistant professor of psychology in Dev Sanskriti University in Haridwar. He is well versed in the understanding of ancient texts as well as the modern scientific knowledge, which helps him present the ancient ideas in a very simple language. He tells entertaining stories through which various yogic concepts are taught in an easily grasped manner. He is author of three books of Indian Astrology, which is also a part of ancient Indian knowledge tradition.
Arpit Agrawal
Yogi Arpit Ji has instructed in various schools of Rishikesh and gotten unbelievable gratefulness from the understudies from all corners of the world. He shows yoga as a smooth and graceful lifestyle. He started learning yoga at the most famed Bihar School of Yoga, Munger. He is additionally the follower of Swami Niranjanananda (Bihar School of Yoga), a well-known yoga school in India. Ankur Agrawal
Ankur Ji is the meditation and pranayama teacher at Sri Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh. Swami Amarna has done Osho Meditation Training Course in "OSHO INTERNATIONAL MEDITATION RESORT" in Pune, Maharashtra (India). He has well versed experienced in a different level of Osho Meditations as well as other traditional meditation methods and has been teaching many years at some places in India. Retreat location
The ashram is located in a very peaceful area in Laxman Jhula, surrounded by green forest from all sides. A small mountain stream runs just next to the ashram, creating sweet melodies in the ears. They provide all accommodation and classes at the same place. Classes, rooms, and food all are in the same beautiful location. The environment here is really nice and green.
You will find yourself surrounded by the mountains and River Ganga from all sides. The ashram is surrounded by the forest area, so you can see all sorts of beautiful birds all day and hear their sweet sounds. This way, you'll find yourself really connected with nature and feel the positive vibes in your heart.
The ashram is amongst nature but still only 50 meters away from the local market and restaurants. The river Ganga is visible from the ashram premises. From the rooftop, you can get a 360-degree view of the city, river, and mountains at the same time. Beautiful and rare species of birds are visible around the Sri Yoga Ashram. Many beautiful waterfalls are nearby within walking distance. Beautiful peacocks also bless the ashram sometimes during their visits.

Food
The ashram serves three Satvik Indian vegetarian meals and two times herbal tea daily. They ensure the healthy preparation of the food. Food is cooked in RO purified water only. There are always many dishes in all meals providing few options to students. Breakfast consists of sandwiches, fruits, sprouts, porridge, upma, and poha.
The same way at lunch and dinner, there are dishes like Chapati, rice, daal, chickpeas, few season vegetables, salad, yogurt, and dessert. They assure you that you will enjoy the food in Sri Yoga Ashram. The food is prepared with love and care for health. They serve fruits in breakfast along with a few other dishes. Food is their USP and students claim that they serve the best meals in the city.
The ashram can arrange vegan meals and gluten-free meals for you. There is always more than one option in the meals. So students will always have few dishes that they can eat. Please note that they are a yoga ashram and not a restaurant, so there is a fixed menu for every day but if all students want some particular dish then it can be cooked in the kitchen for sure.

Arrival by bus
Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi. Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi for Rishikesh every day. You can choose from a regular, deluxe or a luxurious coach.
Arrival by train
The nearest railhead to Rishikesh is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometers away. Haridwar, in turn, is linked to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Some of the popular trains are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express, and Mussoorie Express. For those making the journey to Rishikesh, it is advisable to take the train till Haridwar and then either take a bus or hire a taxi to Rishikesh. While the bus would take about 45 minutes, the taxi will take you to Rishikesh in about half an hour.
