11 Day Navaratri and Meditation Retreat with Yoga at Mount Olympus in Greece
A Rare and Profound Retreat in Greece
The Navaratri meditation retreats give you an authentic experience of traditional Tantra sadhana as part of the auspicious festival called Navaratri, which are periods within the changes of the season when the energy of Shakti is more accessible and useful for meditation. The retreats offer a profound introduction where you participate in creating a live Yantra of the divine feminine in the form of one of Maha Vidyas of Tantra. With the support of the group energy together you meditate 3 hours a day with a specific mantra for this energy. These practices are coming from their lineage Shivoham Tantra.

Program
Alongside this Tantric immersion, Yorgos offers a meditation study from the Vignan Bhairav Tantra. You will be taught 10 additional meditation techniques that are classified in this ancient text as tools for concentration. The techniques come into different categories to help individuals to find the right technique for their typology.
A study such as this is very helpful for spiritual growth both as a practitioner and as a teacher. The Vignan Bhairav tantra is a sacred text coming from Kashmir Shaivism, and is a practical guide with 112 techniques that help to reveal the consciousness within.
The retreat location is set on the east side of mountain of Olympus, Greece, overlooking the Aegean Sea. The nature is beyond stunning, the location is remote and quiet and there are various walks you can enjoy in the break times.
Yorgos is an experienced meditation teacher and will support each person as needed in the overall schedule and process of the retreat, so rest assured the schedule will be applied as needed per individual.
Yorgos is supported by Charlotte who guides the yoga classes and is there to be a feminine support for the group and process. She brings her devotional songs, and careful dedication to these ancient practices.
Yantra and mantra
A Yantra is a geometrical design which holds the energy of the divine in the astral and physical planes. The different geometric patterns symbolically represent different aspects of the forces of the universe. For instance the central point represents the infinite beyond form, whilst the four gates around the edge represent the four directions. For Navaratri you plant seeds into earth. In this way the energy of the goddess grows with the life of the little plants.
In Tantra you also use mantra which is the sound vibration of the particular energy you are working with. In Navaratri it is always with an aspect of the divine feminine. The repetition of her mantra with the support of the yantra builds the frequency of this beneficial energy inside of you, purifying you, and helping you to embody your divine energy.

Yorgos Aryavrat
From the early age of seventeen, Yorgos began meditating, pursuing spiritual efforts and deepening his studies in Orthodox mysticism and Gnostic Christianity. On the path of awareness he has always been interested in direct experiencing and understanding the inner life than perusing through intellect and reading. These early years in spirituality initiated Yorgos into practices that involved kriyas, Yoga Nidra and yogic methods similar to those of Raja yoga, where he devoted much of his leisure time to meditation.
