Important information
Yogic discipline and a recommended code of conduct are expected from all students. Samadhi Yoga Ashram has the following disciplinary rules for participants.
- Smoking and alcohol are strictly prohibited in the ashram
- Inform the kitchen manager in advance if you have a fast on any day to avoid food wastage
- Always maintain discipline within the premises and be respectful to the teachers by obeying all the rules
- Maintain punctuality and arrive on time for the classes - latecomers will not be permitted to join sessions
- Return books, maps, or any goods which you might have borrowed from the institution
- Samadhi Yoga Ashram offers accommodation only for its students who join yoga courses, not to friends or family
- Complete attendance is compulsory in all the scheduled programs of the Samadhi yoga ashram

Instructors
Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi
Vishnu was born in a Brahmin family in a village in the western region of Odisha. He was greatly influenced by his grandfather’s guidance in meditation. He is often seen serving food and water to wandering sadhus at the Radha-Krishna Temple constructed by his grandfather, to listen to their travel stories of spirituality. He is now famous in the spiritual circle as Yogi Vishnu Panigrahi. Yogi Vishnu has traveled extensively to deliver lecturers on spirituality, yoga, meditation, and inner-faith. At present, he is deeply dedicated to guiding disciples at Samadhi Yoga Ashram.
Yogi Ashutosh Ji
Ashutosh Mishra born and bought up in Rishikesh, known as the international capital of yoga. It was in his genes to enjoy and explore the great ancient art of yoga, and he is strongly rooted in Hatha yoga and Therapeutic yoga. His style is dynamic combination of intelligent sequencing and alignment for the body and health condition of the person. He was introduced to yoga at a very tender age. So his father enrolled him at the University of Patanjali. He spent three years at the University and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in yogic science.
Sadhu Sri
Sadhu Sri is a renowned yoga tutor of world peace yoga school who has a deep knowledge in philosophy owing to his specialization in Indian Philosophy. He has studied Patanjali Yoga Sutra, Upanishads, and Buddhist literature in depth which has contributed immensely to his knowledge of philosophy and history. Now, for many years, the Yoga Guru has been sharing his valuable experience of philosophy with his students along with teaching his students on how to use the knowledge in day-to-day routine life with the help of practical approach backed by reasoning.
Praveen Rajput
Yogi Praveen Rajput is a renowned name in the field of yoga. He has a successful journey as a yoga tutor and has achieved several milestones in his journey. Yogi Praveen Rajput was born in the pious land of Rishikesh, and since childhood, he was fascinated by the goodness of yoga. From a very young age, he developed a passion for yoga practice. Yogi Praveen has always shared his knowledge of yoga with his friends and family, which has made him a successful yoga tutor. Praveen has had an experience and training in various aspects of yoga such as meditation, philosophy, and relaxation.
Ambika Ji
Ambika Devi is the name given to Victoria Petrovsky by Guru Vishnu Panigrahi in October of 2020. His disciple and humble servant, Ambika has been serving as a karma yogi in Samadhi Yoga Ashram, and with joy accepts the great responsibility of teaching the Himalayan Tradition of yoga both online and offline, when such opportunity arises. Ambika calls Rishikesh her home, however she was born in Russia and has lived since a young girl in USA and Australia. She has undergone her complete TTC at Samadhi and has received undergrad degree in Environmental Science and Design from Maharishi University.
Anita Mander
Anita is a 500 hour RYT Kundalini and Tantra, 200 hour RYT multi style yoga - Vinyasa and Hatha, Level 1 and 2 Cobra breath teacher. She initiated and practiced through the lineage of Grand Master Sunyata Saraswati, yoga Nidra and 50 hours of Ayurveda trained, Reiki Level 1 and 2, direct from the 10th lineage of Dr. Usui, Kundalini and Tantra teacher with Kundalini Yoga Ashram, World Peace Yoga School and Samadhi Yoga Ashram, Kundalini and Tantra teacher with Profit 28 and Santosha Yoga.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to arrive at Dehradun Airport (DED). Transfer from the airport is included. Transfer to this airport from the school is offered at an additional cost of 18 USD. Transfer from and to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is also offered at an additional cost of 72 USD. Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is 250 kilometers from the ashram, but there is a direct flight to Dehradun Airport (DED) and from there by taxi, it is 15 kilometers.
Arrival by bus
You can also reach Rishikesh by bus from the Interstate Bus Terminus in Delhi. Take a Volvo or any luxurious coach from Delhi to Rishikesh, but a bus journey can be very tiring.
Arrival by train
You can also take the train from Delhi to Haridwar, which is 25 kilometers away from Rishikesh. Haridwar is linked to many major cities in India.
Arrival by taxi
You can request Samadhi Yoga Ashram for a taxi to take you directly from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to the ashram, which costs 80 USD. Samadhi Yoga Ashram can also send a taxi to pick you up from the bus terminal. From Haridwar, you can hire a taxi or Samadhi Yoga Ashram can also send a taxi to pick you up on request in advance. The taxi charges from Haridwar to Rishikesh will be 20 USD. You can also hire an auto-rickshaw for the Lakshman Jhula, but then you have to walk across the Jhula until you arrive at the ashram premises.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
