Vikas Bisht
Vikash Bisht was born in the picturesque hill town of Rishikesh in the year 1982. Just at the age of 16, he discovered his interest towards yoga. At that very young age, he gained a lot of recognition due to his teaching of the Hatha Yoga while regularly attending the acupressure, naturopathy, intensive courses, and yoga therapy classes. His great passion towards yoga teaching and aesthetic way of life turned his life towards devoutness, self analysis, and meditation. Afterwards, he escalated his insights of correcting and assisting yoga students.
Yogi Mohan Jee
Yogi Mohan Jee is a well-qualified and competent yoga teacher with experience in Hatha Yoga, Shivananda Yoga, Raj Yoga, Acupressure, and nephropathy. His professionalism has made him successful in the field of conducting 200, 300, and 500 hours of yoga teacher training in India. He started his yoga learning when he was just 15. He is regularly participating in seminars and yoga festivals being conducted all over the world. His deep understanding of body alignments and asanas has helped him a lot in giving basic comprehension of the human body.
Shailendra Rana
Yogi Shailendra Rana is a qualified and experienced Hatha yoga and pranayama instructor at Rishikesh Yoga Home. He was born into a spiritual family in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. He began his yoga journey in the lap of the Himalayas from multiple yoga schools in Rishikesh. His dedication to yoga made his move towards deep learning of yoga. He initiated himself into the path of yoga and meditation. In his achievements, he has visited several countries to teach and explore yoga, following the syllabus of the Yoga Alliance, USA. He brings sincere love for students in the classes he holds.
Yogini Richa Mishra
Meet Yogini Richa Mishra. The well-experienced and exposed Yogini with the skills of basic Hatha and Ashtanga yoga. She is also well-trained in Core Yoga and Hatha Flow. Since her childhood, she has dedicated his life to spirituality and yogic life. She is truly blessed with her talent for yoga in her life. She has been doing this for a long time. Her knowledge has given her a chance to share her yoga experience with several yoga lovers in different parts of the country. She is a registered yoga instructor Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusadhana Samantha, Bengaluru, India.
Retreat location
This retreat takes place in Rishikesh, India. Rishikesh is a city in India’s northern state of Uttarakhand, in the Himalayan foothills beside the Ganges River. The river is considered holy, and the city is renowned as a center for studying yoga and meditation.

Rishikesh Yoga Home provides three vegetarian meals, two herbal tea and a vegetables - fruit drinks daily to the yogis and keep them under a Sattvic state.
Sattvic food is the purest diet, the most suitable one for any serious yoga student. It nourishes the body and maintains a peaceful state. This, in turn, calms and purifies the mind, enabling it to function at its maximum potential.

Arrival by airplane
Jolly Grant Airport - Dehradun Airport (DED) is the nearest airport to Rishikesh which is approximately 35 kilometres away. Popular carriers like Air India, Spice Jet, and Jet Airways often have daily flights from New Delhi. Apart from Delhi, there is a flight from Lucknow to Dehradun as well.
Once you reach the airport, you can opt for a regular taxi or bus service which is easily available from Dehradun to Rishikesh. The second nearest international airport for Rishikesh is in New Delhi which is well-connected with different cities across the globe.
Arrival by bus
Being a popular tourist destination, Rishikesh has a good network of buses connecting it with important places such as Haridwar, Dehradun, and New Delhi.
Buses depart in the morning and late evening from the Kashmere Gate ISBT, New Delhi for Rishikesh every day. You can choose from a regular, deluxe, or a luxurious coach.
Arrival by train
The nearest railhead to Rishikesh is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometres away. Haridwar, in turn, is linked to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Some of the popular trains are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express, and Mussoorie Express.
For those making the journey to Rishikesh, it is advisable to take the train till Haridwar and then either take a bus or hire a taxi to Rishikesh. While the bus would take about 45 minutes, the taxi will take you to Rishikesh in about half an hour.
Driving directions
Driving up to Rishikesh is worth considering, as it is connected to other cities via the National Highway 58, which is in a good condition for most of the year.
The short stretch of hilly terrain may be a little rutted, but tourists prefer to take a taxi or drive up to Rishikesh. The drive from Delhi to Rishikesh would take approximately 6 to 7 hours.
