At this residential 300-hour yoga teacher training, you will polish your teaching skills and learn how to take your yoga career to new heights. This training with an expert team of lead teachers will set you on a spiritual path of yoga with body, mind, and spirit. Raj Yoga Rishikesh Teacher Training courses are comprised of small groups of up to 10 people, in order to provide intimate classes where the teachers can give proper personalized attention to each student.
You will be accommodated at Raj Resort in private fully furnished bedrooms. Your room includes a comfortable double bed, private bathroom, and Wi-Fi access. There is a choice of accommodation available to you on this program, and all rooms come with a ceiling fan or air conditioning, private bathroom and wonderful warm showers to indulge in at the end of each day. Raj Yoga Rishikesh is located close to everything you might need, from shops and stalls to temples and sightseeing.
One of the first things you will notice on arrival is the beautiful yoga hall. It is beautifully set within the lush gardens and stocked up with all the required equipment and yoga tools that you would want from a yoga school. The studio features comfortable wooden flooring and tranquil surroundings, the perfect place for you to let go, relax, and deepen into your yoga training. Other facilities offered at Raj Yoga Rishikesh include relaxing gardens and a delicious vegetarian restaurant.
There are both private and shared room options. The rooms feature a balcony / terrace facing the gardens and mountains. The balconies are a great spot to watch exotic birds in the trees or to sit back reading a book.
The objective of the advanced yoga teacher training is to deepen and expand the knowledge and yogic practices from the previous 200-hour yoga teacher training course. This 300-hour yoga advance training includes in-depth study of yoga postures, yoga philosophy, meditation, yoga therapy, pranayama breathing, teaching methods, Ayurveda, and yoga therapy.
Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®). he course will offer a deeper immersion in all of the topics covered in your 200-hour training, giving you a much better grounding in these areas. You will also be certified at the 500-hour level and eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-500.
Students must have previously finished a 200-hour yoga teacher training course to enroll for 300-hour course. One must be prepared to put the efforts into advancing the knowledge and deepening the practice. Anyone who is self-motivated and willing to learn and teach yoga can join.
Hatha alignment - Focus on the correct alignment of all the advance asana and their variations based on Iyengar style. You focus on each asana in detail with the alignment and breath - standing, sitting, forward bends, back bends, inversions, and arm balance. The asana classes are of mixed style - strength based, flow based, alignment based, etc. Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow yoga - Vinyasa Flow is characterized by flowing poses and sequences that are linked to the breath. Through the flowing movement of one pose to the next, the focus is brought to the inhale and the exhale. Various Vinyasa class sequences that include the regular linear Ashtanga sequence and more creative expressive Vinyasa forms.
Yoga philosophy will cover the history and science behind the study of yoga. The classic texts and teachings on yoga presented in terms of your lives today, with most attention on Patanjali Yoga Sutra, you will learn about the Bhagavad Geeta and the lessons of Karma yoga, Bhakti yoga, and Gyana yoga. You will learn about the physical, astral, and causal bodies and Hatha Yoga Pradipika.
This module will give you the understanding of the five vayus or principle forces of the body. You will also get an opportunity to learn about different doshas of the body and the therapy part will teach you how to balance these doshas. This will be a great module to bring general wellbeing in life and also guide others to lead a healthier life.
You will be focusing on all the major pranayama as per the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. The pranayama will be taught correctly and in detail so you understand the benefits of each. Raj Yoga Rishikesh will also teach you the therapeutic use of pranayama through which you will able to guide your students in future. You will also get an opportunity to advance your pranayama practice and grow spiritually.
All the major Mudras and Bandhas which include application of Uddiyana, Moolabandha, and Jalandhara Bandha.
Students will learn both the philosophy and practical application of a variety of meditation techniques. You will get an introduction to Chakra meditations, Mantra meditation, Vipassana meditation, and other meditation technique.
Students will learn anatomy and physiology relevant to yoga in order to strengthen their classroom explanations, cues, and corrections of asana.
Clear guidelines and instructions on how to teach to different levels of students a few different approaches to asana class as well as breathwork.
