A natural landscape adorned with oblivion and absolute peace for years, full of pictures taken from fairy tales, awaits to be discovered step by step by you. The magical setting of Montanema Handmade Village with a stunning hall overlooking the forest is ideal for this yoga retreat. During the weekend, you will walk through the fir forest to Ai Giorgi’s post-Byzantine church, you will search for mushrooms in the woods, you will descend to the gorge of Anthochorion and marvel at the waterfalls, you will also have cooking lessons and feed the animals of the farm inside the village.
You will stay at Montanema Handmade Village, located at a magical spot in the heart of the mountain, 4.5 km from Lake Plastira with a stunning hall overlooking the forest.
In the 3-Day yoga retreat in Montanena, yoga techniques to deepen your contact with the positive qualities within you will be used. Foteini will work intensively in a series of practices that strengthen the body, calm the mind and lead to a more harmonious and balanced state of being. These include Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and relaxation at the end of the course.
Fotini teaches Hatha, Restorative, and Vinyasa yoga. She is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a registered yoga school. She is also a gymnast graduate from Athens University and owner of the Kouros studio. Fotini was the founder of the classic athletics (track) team in Aegina, of which she was president for five years. She was also involved for 12 years with classic athletics (800 - 1,500 meters) and was a track champion in many appearances with the national team of Greece.

You will be served with 2 vegetarian meals per day (Friday and Saturday) with five traditional, vegetarian courses (including appetizer, salad, casserole baked a handmade pie and of course one of the courses will be cooked in a wood-fired oven… and dessert). Beverage package with unlimited consumption during meals (excellent local wines, red, rosé, white, beer, refreshments).

Handmade and baked bread with no preservatives and sweeteners from the neighboring watermill. Seasonal vegetables from the gardens that are watered by the waters of the Agrafa springs, without pesticides. Eggs from their own chickens and regional pulses, all organic and pure with flavors that will make your mind wander.
