The accommodation is facilitated with a Wi-Fi connection and with air-conditioning available (on request only). However, please note that Moksha Yogshala provides accommodation for a student who joins yoga classes. Any friends or relatives will not be included in the accommodation.
There are three room options available for this course: single private room, double shared room and triple share room. The rooms are equipped with beds, fans, air-conditioning (extra charge), a wardrobe, mosquito windows and a door and a Wi-Fi connection. All rooms are shared with the same gender. The bathrooms are equipped with hot showers and a Western toilet.

This 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training is created for individuals with aspirations of becoming yoga teachers but is appropriate for any individual wishing to further expand their yoga practice. The medium of communication in this course is English, so it requires a certain amount of proficiency in the language to be able to handle and respond to the instructions and lectures. There are no educational requirements to join it. As long as you are able to express yourself and be who you are, you're welcome.
Which style will you be taught at Yoga India Moksha Yoga School in India?
The teacher training will cover traditional Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga, pranayama, yoga philosophy/ethics/lifestyle, anatomy and physiology, teaching methodology, purification KRIYAS, mudras, mantras chanting, bhandas and meditation. Besides these main topics, the team is also passionate about sharing with you the experience and teachings of Sufi meditation, Yoga Nidra and Various yogic breathing techniques.

Yoga postures (Asana)
- Students will gain extensive knowledge on yoga postures and will increase their physical strength, inner strength and naturally their flexibility. Some asanas are connected to certain mind patterns and throughout the training this body/mind connection will get more clear in many ways
- There will be assistance with the asanas and space for alignment. The focus is on Hatha yoga and there will be some ashtanga yoga classes as well
- During the 200 hours course you will learn more than 50 traditional and dynamic Hatha yoga asana poses as well as a minimum of 20 Ashtanga poses
Pranayama (Breathing practices)
- Students will gain extensive knowledge on yoga postures and will increase their physical strength, inner strength and naturally their flexibility. Some asanas are connected to certain mind patterns and throughout the training this body/mind connection will get more clear in many ways.
- There will be assistance with the asanas and space for alignment. The focus is on hatha yoga and there will be some ashtanga yoga classes as well.

A yoga teacher should efficiently perform the practical applications of class planning and preparation. At Yoga India Moksha Yoga, students will learn how to create a positive and peaceful class environment for an enjoyable and transformative experience. You will learn:

Teaching practice (Adhyapanam)
Students will take turns practicing their teaching skills by performing in front of their peers and teachers. There will be demonstration, alignment, and instructions. You will learn:

Anatomy and physiology (Sharir Vijnan)
- Proper understanding of the physical body will help to prevent injury before, during, and after practice.
- Physical anatomy and physiology (bodily systems, organs, etc.) and energy anatomy and physiology (chakras, nadis, etc). Includes both the study of the subject and application of its principles to yoga practice (benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns).
- Practical anatomy with a major emphasis on muscular and skeletal structures and in-depth study of anatomical and skeletal differences (i.e. compression, tension, and proportion and orientation theory)

Yoga Nidra (Psychic sleep)
When a yoga practitioner moves through the various internal states of Yoga Nidra, a profound experience of relaxation occurs. This is called "turiya," a sensation of pure bliss. This will cover basic relaxation, tension relaxation, and full body relaxation.
Naturopathy
You will learn about the 5 elements and how to use them to detoxify body and mind. Mud, water, and air (breathing) therapy will be practiced and there are teachings about how to increase fire and other element in life.

Mr. Vishal Sharma is a certified yoga trainer. He has completed a master of arts in Yogic science. He has also done a one-year diploma in Yoga and 500 hours TTC. Master of Arts in Yogic Science from Uttarakhand Sanskrit University in 2018. Certificate of participation in the Yogasan Championship organized by Shri Jai Ram Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya in April 2017. Certificate of participation in the International Yoga Festival for one week in March 2017. Certificate of Uttarakhand Yoga Culture Federation affiliated with Department of Ayush Ministry of Family and Health Welfare Govt. Of India.
Retreat location
Moksha Yogshala is located in an ashram outside of Rishikesh town. Rishikesh is known as Tapo Bhumi, meaning the place for yoga and meditation of the Gods. Rishikesh is a peaceful temple town where the Ganges River flows clearly and is full of spiritual energy. Rishikesh is a holy place that acts as the beginning of the path leading to the sacred places deep in the Himalayas.
Food
The food provided at Moksha Yogshala is 100 per cent vegetarian, not vegan. Special needs or diets can be catered for. You will need to inform Moksha Yogshala in advance so their chef can prepare food for you especially. Breakfast will typically have two fruits and upma/poha/parathas/sprouts/idli. During lunch and dinner, you will typically have one portion of dal, vegetable curry, chapatis, salad and rice.
All the food is served freshly within a short time after preparation so that you can receive the highest amount of vital energy/life force energy (Prana) from it. Sustainability is a very important aspect of Moksha Yogshala, so they do their best to stay away from wasting any food and put importance on cooking the right amount at any time.

Transfer to this airport from the school after the TTC is offered at an additional cost of 1000 INR. Transfer from and to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is also offered at an additional cost of 70 USD or less (depending on the season and time of the day). Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) is 250 kilometers from the ashram, but there is a direct flight to Dehradun Airport (DED) and from there by taxi, is 15 kilometers.

- A reservation requires a deposit of 15% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
