Three-week Ayurveda training course in Kathmandu
This comprehensive three-week program provides both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in classical Ayurvedic medicine. Students will explore authentic Ayurvedic principles, diagnostic methods, and therapeutic techniques in Nepal's rich healing tradition.

- Introduction of the basic principles of Modern medicine, Homeopathy, Unani, Siddha, Tibetian Medicine, Yoga & Naturopathy and their relevance in light of the basic principles of Ayurvedic medicine.
F. Introduction to Panchakarma with its importance in disease & healthy condition:
- Introduction to Purvakarma along with mode of Action.
- Introduction to Pradhana karma along with mode of Action (Vaman, Virechan, Nasya, Basti, Raktamokshana)
- Introduction to Paschat karma along with mode of Action.
G. Introduction to Rasayan chikitsa (Rejuvenation Therapy) and Vajikaran chikita (Aphrodisiacs Therapy).
H. Introduction to Mano vigyan & Manasa Roga (psychiatry).
I. Introduction to Prasuti Tantra & stri Roga.

Nourishing sattvic meals and wholesome dining at Mandala
At Mandala, food is not just fuel — it is part of the healing journey. The chef lovingly prepares fresh, sattvic vegetarian meals rooted in Ayurvedic principles, designed to support digestion, detoxification, and overall well-being throughout your Panchakarma program. Meals are served buffet-style in the warm and welcoming dining hall, which comfortably seats up to 24 guests. A rooftop dining space is also available, where you can enjoy your meals alongside breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and Kathmandu Valley.
The daily meals include a wholesome and varied spread across all three mealtimes:
- Breakfast — porridge, oats, muesli, toast, pancakes, fresh seasonal fruits, and a selection of nuts served several times a week
- Lunch and dinner — rice prepared in various styles, seasonal vegetables, lentil soup, fresh salads, and flavorful soups served regularly
- Beverages — herbal teas, Tulsi, mint, green and black tea, fresh garden herbs, juices, lassi, and smoothies available throughout the day
Whenever possible, fresh vegetables are sourced from a nearby local organic farm and their own on-site garden, where they grow holy basil, mint, lemongrass, rosemary, spinach, and lettuce — keeping every meal as fresh and natural as possible.
They also cater to specific dietary needs with dedicated vegan and gluten-free options, including tofu-based dishes, coconut and soy milk, rice flour pancakes, quinoa, buckwheat, and millet-based meals. Guests with particular medical or dietary requirements are kindly encouraged to bring any additional supplements or snacks they may need.
