The Jungle Accommodations are simple, comfortable, and surrounded by nature. The property is lush with greenery, regional flowers, and swaying palms.
From your outdoor yoga shala, you will see over 100 species of plans, numerous breeds of regional birds, and bushes filled with bright red hibiscus flowers.
Students will stay in apartments that are designed for either shared group or single occupancy preferences. All students will have their own beds in a shared or private room. Each apartment has a washroom - there is also a washroom at the Shala and a shower near the pool.
Rooms are cooled with Caribbean breeze and fans. We aim to keep our eco-footprint small. This is supported by not using AC. We ask that students are gentle on the resources, the island is limited in supply.

Instructors
Sarah Marti
Sarah is a fun loving adventure seeking yogi with a passion for travel and learning. With an extensive teaching history and a true desire to spread the love of wellness, Sarah brings a fun and relaxed approach to learning.
Stacy Dixon
Stacy Dixon is a fearless explorer at heart and a devoted teacher by calling. Born and raised in the rolling green hills of Ireland, she traded misty mornings for salty sea breezes when she made her home on a tiny Mexican island a decade ago. Always drawn to the unknown, it’s this same curiosity and courage she brings to the mat-encouraging students to step beyond their comfort zones, discover new edges in their practice, and celebrate every small victory.
Retreat location
The school is located just off the Caribbean shoreline. Students get to enjoy being less than a three minutes walk away from the secluded beaches of the Caribbean in both directions. Easily enjoyed are the calm swimming waters of the west, or the breezy cliff edges on the east.
Students can walk the relaxed streets in either direction to find swimming and shopping areas, live music, and even cultural centers. Less than 500 meters south of the school is the sacred traditional land of Punta Sur. This area is known internationally as a healing center, and the home of Mayan Goddess Ixchel (the goddess of female health & fertility) walking the cliff edges is purely magical. Enjoying a sunrise meditation on this land is nothing less than inspirational.
