During this retreat, you will be accommodated at Italy Farm Stay, where you can choose from different types of rooms to fit your budget and vacation. All rooms have terracotta tiles, beautifully hand-painted trees, wildlife on the walls, and wood furniture with hand-carved details. The beds are new and comfortable, so you can be assured that you will have a pleasant night's sleep during your stay.

The rooms are equipped with a fan in the summer and a heating unit in the colder months. Rooms are made of limestone walls which keep them quite cool in the summer. The larger rooms can accommodate up to four or five people. Camping on the farm is also available for guests who are looking for a more affordable stay but who want to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the farm. You can bring your own tent and equipment, or you can rent a tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping mat for a small fee.

Program

The yoga farm offers a serene retreat where guests can enjoy rejuvenating yoga holidays, reconnect with themselves, and meet people from around the world. Volunteers are welcome to assist with daily farm duties, contributing to a vibrant, collaborative atmosphere that brings everyone together in a shared experience of wellness and community. Solo travelers, couples, and families are all warmly welcomed at the yoga farm.

Guests are welcome to stay as long as they wish and take part in a variety of enriching activities. These include walking meditations, cooking classes, horseback riding, permaculture workshops, and more, each designed to nourish both body and spirit. This is a space to slow down, be in nature, and share meaningful moments with others in a simple, nourishing environment.

During this yoga holiday, you will follow daily classes aimed at releasing stress and refreshing the body. You’ll learn simple yet powerful tools and techniques to relax your body and mind, skills you can take home and use in your daily life to stay grounded and centered anytime, anywhere.

Each day begins with a morning Hatha-Tantra yoga class from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m, followed by a nourishing breakfast. The late morning and early afternoon are free for you to rest, explore the surroundings, or connect with other guests.

One day includes a guided hike to a stunning waterfall in Abruzzo National Park; another offers a relaxing Reiki treatment. Dinner is served in the evening at 7:30 or 8:00 p.m, depending on the day.

Retreat location

The farm is located in the small village of Pescosolido, at the foot of the Abruzzo National Park. The area around the farm is one of the most beautiful places in Italy; mountains, waterfalls, hiking trails, lakes, wildlife, and many interesting ruins, churches, and castles are easily accessible and the area is not filled with tourists like other parts of Italy.

The farm is close to the town of Sora (about 35,000 inhabitants) where you can eat at local restaurants, stroll along the lively main street, visit the numerous shops, cafes, and pubs, use the internet, or go to the open air market on Thursday mornings. The farm itself is a large property where guests can roam around, eat fresh fruit, spend time with the animals, relax in the shade of an olive tree, or hike around the trails in the beautiful forest.
