You will stay for one night in Serangan, for three nights on the island of Gili Asahan, for two nights in Ubud, and for four nights in the mountains of Bali at Sarinbuana. You will have double rooms for most or all accommodations (there may be a triple for a night or two), so you will not have to share rooms with several people.
The theme for this retreat will be "Lessons from Rumi". Between all the yoga, meditation, hikes, beaching, you will weave in and explore the wonderful poetry and lessons of Rumi, the enlightened 14th-century mystic, who speaks of balancing head with heart, being a child, being in awe, and “escaping the forehead pressure of the mind”.
Fly to Denpasar, where a taxi or shuttle will take you to your hotel just 20 minutes from the airport.
Breakfast, then 2-hour beautiful boat ride to the tiny car-less island of Gili Asahan, where you spend three nights, with yoga.

Roy is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher in the Viniyoga tradition. He teaches a safe, gentle, body-friendly, grounded, breath-connected, meditative, flowing, and traditional Hatha yoga. He also teaches breath-work (pranayama) and meditation and incorporates the aspects of emotional healing and balancing. For Roy, meditation is a mindfulness style, with focus on breath awareness, heart opening, body senses, emotional clearing, and connection on all levels.
Liz Gross is a certified energy therapist, a vibrational medicine practitioner, and a biopulsar reflexograph analyst. She is a graduate of EarthWalk Institute of Healing Arts in Bellevue, Washington. Liz is a gifted sound and vibration healer and teaches with Roy on retreats. Liz teaches yoga, meditation, oneness, and often does some of the cooking on the retreats. She feels very passionate about vibrational medicine and loves working with others in that way.
This retreat will take place on two islands in Indonesia: Bali and Lombok in regions including Gili Asahan, Ubud, and Tabanan.
You will be served daily breakfast and three daily meals for seven days of the retreat.
In your free time, you can go for a swim, for snorkeling, or just go for some local culture discovering and exploring. There is an optional one day before the trip officially begins, where you can take a boat to a great snorkel spot to swim with manta rays and enjoy clear waters.
