Gurukul Yogashala Ashram has private, and shared rooms prepared for yoga students. All have private bathrooms with western toilets and continuous hot & cold-water availability. At the accommodation, you will find clean rooms with cozy garden and mountain views, refreshing showers, storage space, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The location of the Gurukul Yogashala Ashram is dedicated in ensuring a clean and harmonious atmosphere throughout your stay, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surroundings. This provides the ideal place for practicing yoga outdoors while gazing upon the awe-inspiring Himalayas and the sacred Ganges, making it an idyllic setting to call home during your stay.

- Airfare – Travel expenses to and from India are your responsibility.

Arrival by airplane
Please book your flight to Jolly Grant Airport (DED). You can also take a connecting flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Jolly Grant Airport.
- Pickup from Jolly Grant Airport is not included, but Gurukul Yogashala can arrange a taxi for you for 25 USD (one-way).
- If you arrive at Delhi Airport (DEL), the school can arrange an airport transfer for 70 USD (one-way).

Arrival by bus
Depending on the time of the day your flight arrives in Delhi, you can avail of Volvo buses that transfer you from Delhi to Rishikesh. However, please note that these buses generally stop running after 21:00.
The distance from Delhi to Rishikesh is 250 kilometers, and it generally takes approximately 6 hours to travel this distance. However, the traffic, time, and festival celebrations on the road can lead to delays. The Rishikesh bus stand is merely 15 minutes away from the ashram.
Arrival by train
Various trains run between Rishikesh and Delhi. It's advisable to book your tickets through the official Indian Railways government website or application to avoid any confusion regarding timings and payments.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
