The residential training takes place in a charming three-bedroom house near Nottingham city center, thoughtfully designed to support both comfort and connection. The ground floor features a serene yoga studio that accommodates six to eight mats, surrounded by shelves of inspiring yoga books and state-of-the-art props. Adjacent to the studio is a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a small dining nook where trainees gather for light lunches. Upstairs, the first floor opens into a spacious kitchen and cosy living room - perfect for shared dinners, group discussions, or quiet unwinding after practice.
The top floor houses all bedrooms, including a welcoming guest room for two yoga students, complete with a built-in wardrobe and a peaceful window reading corner. Outside, the sunlit back garden provides a tranquil seating area perfect for morning tea, journaling, or simply taking in the fresh air. It is a space that feels like home - calm, communal, and deeply supportive of your journey.

Students who complete the training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
How the training works
This hybrid training consists of 80 hours of online self-paced training and 120 hours of onsite training in Nottingham within 12 days at Thakery's Lane. For the online part, the maximum duration to complete it is one year. You will have access to 70 hours of material and up to 10 hours of one-on-one classes online. At least 20 hours will need to be done before the in-person immersion starts. The rest of the online course can be done throughout or afterwards. You will have access to a comprehensive online portal featuring video lectures, readings, quizzes, and assignments. You can progress at your own pace, with suggested weekly milestones and optional discussion forums.

Hind began her yoga journey in Egypt and deepened her practice in the UK, where she now teaches full-time. Her continued studies include certifications in Pranayama, Advanced Anatomy, and Mudra with respected teachers such as BNS Iyengar, David Keil, and Joey Paz. Practicing six days a week, Hind teaches Full Primary Series, Rocket Yoga, and Mysore-style classes at Deep Yoga, UK.
