Babaji's Kriya Yoga Ashram in Quebec, Canada is located on 40 acres, atop a mountain, with panoramic views of neighboring mountains and pristine forest land. It has a private lake, access to hundreds of acres of forest trails, and the peace of isolation. A vegetarian meal service is available. It is open year-round for group initiations and retreats, short-term person retreat stays or long- term residency. A daily schedule centered around the practice of Babaji's five-fold path of Kriya Yoga is maintained. The ashram also houses "Kriya Yoga Publications."

Program

During this weekend you will learn 18 postures for greater health, relaxation and energy; the 6 phases of the powerful breathing technique, known as "Kriya Kundalini Pranayama" to awaken and circulate subtle energies; 7 techniques of meditation to cleanse the subconscious, to master the mind and to bring about realization of the Self and Absolute Reality.

These 18 postures were chosen by Babaji from the thousands that exist to form an effective system for rejuvenating the physical body and preparing it for the more subtle phases of his Kriya Yoga. The immortal Himalayan master is living proof of their effectiveness. Each posture comprises several steps, making them accessible to beginners and advanced students alike. The postures are also grouped in pairs, or counter-postures, encouraging the relaxation phase at the end of each posture.

Saturday and Sunday

  • 09:00-17:30 Training with 1.5 hour break for lunch and 15 minutes breaks in the morning and afternoon.

Arrival by plane

Please book your flight to Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL). There is a shutttle bus from Montreal airport to Magog. After that, a local transportation is available from the bus station in Magog, Quebec, which is 15 minutes away.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 20% of the total price.
