Yoga Teacher Training India

What makes this training in India so special and best?

You will get the chance to teach two full hours classes with full sequence to real drop in students under a teacher supervision and moral support because Yoga with Divya feels it is very important for you to teach three or five full classes to learn to teach and have real-life experience of teaching full two hours yoga classes with proper sequence given by them with video for help of students to understand, remember, and practice later which you can see on this website also.

All this help is missing in other yoga schools where students do not get any two hours sequence or video so they are confused and indecisive to search for new yoga sequence and they do not even get any single chance to teach full two hours with proper sequence for benefits of all body parts instead students get only 30 or 40 minutes to teach among themselves without any full proper sequence. This makes this yoga teacher training in India so unique, different, and special. Yoga with Divya teaches every student according to his or her individual needs and type for their maximum growth and progress.

They give choices and teach different styles of yoga like Iyengar style, Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and therapeutic yoga. They understand some people are born with certain limitations so they focus on adjustments for all level students. They give lots of time and importance to yoga therapy so people of all kinds of health problems are welcome.

  • 16:10 Evening Ashtanga Vinyasa style asanas; methodology and adjustment

Yoga philosophy

The main philosophy of yoga is simple: mind, body, and spirit are all one and cannot be clearly separated. Yet there is a multitude of philosophical ideas developed by looking into the deeper dimensions of the body, mind, and spirit.

During this course you will deepen your knowledge about the main yoga philosophies, such as Patanjali yoga sutra, karma yoga, bhakti yoga, and gyan yoga. This will help you understand better who you are and what you can be, and how to achieve your hidden potential and possibilities.

Iyengar yoga

Named after and developed by B. K. S. Iyengar, this is a form of Hatha yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision, and alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). The development of strength, mobility, and stability is gained through the asanas.

Iyengar yoga often makes use of props, such as belts, blocks, and blankets, as aids in performing the asanas. The props enable students to perform the asanas correctly, minimizing the risk of injury or strain, and making the postures accessible to both young and old.

Ashtanga Vinyasa

Vinyasa essentially means movement synchronized with breath and is a vigorous style based on a rapid flow through sun salutations. You may also see a Vinyasa yoga class referred to as a flow class, which refers to the continuous flow from one posture to the next. On the other hand, Ashtanga is a system of yoga that was brought to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois.

During an Ashtanga class you will be led nonstop through one or more of the Ashtanga series while being encouraged to breathe as you move from pose to pose. Each series is a set sequence of asanas, always in the same order. It is typically fast-paced, vigorous, and physically challenging.

Pranayama

On subtle levels prana represents the pranic energy responsible for life or life force, and ayama is controlling. Best known as the formal practice of controlling the breath, which is the source of our prana, or vital life force, pranayama exercises are specially designed to control the rhythms of pranic energy and achieve a healthy body and mind.

Bandhas

In Sanskrit bandha means to lock, to hold, or to tighten. It also refers to lock-in and of itself. There are 3 principle bandhas in the body, and a fourth that ties them all together. Bandhas conduct breath through the body, working against the force of gravity and achieving lightness. They allow energy to flow.

This is technically something very subtle, therefore physical action and muscle contraction are only a small part of bandha. The bandhas help you regulate and control all your internal systems; hormonal, sexual, metabolic, digestive, and more.

Kriyas and mudras

Kriya is a Sanskrit word that means 'action'. In the context of the risen kundalini, kriyas refer to involuntary movements which result from increased life force pranic energy in the body. Those who meditate or do yoga regularly may also experience kriyas during their practice. On the other hand, mudras are sacred hand movements described in some yogic texts. They can be seen in classic statues of Buddhist and Hindu deities.

Daily practice of kriyas and mudras helps attain better health, cure different diseases and it also helps to go deeper into meditation.

Meditation

There are many things in life that are beyond our control. However, it is possible to take responsibility for our own states of mind and change them for the better. Meditation is a means of transforming the mind. It helps develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and a calm seeing of the true nature of things.

A regular meditation practice will help you understand the patterns and habits of your mind, and create more positive ways of being. With regular work and patience, these focused states of mind can deepen into profoundly peaceful and energized states of mind.

Ayurveda and naturopathy

You will learn about Ayurveda and naturopathy for a better, healthier life, and natural remedies to cure different diseases. You will also learn about diet control and the different types of food that are best for you, which are not good or might be harmful; all this to improve your health and eating habits. In Ayurveda, you will learn about the different body constitutions or doshas, such as prakrithi vatta, pitta, kapha, and much more.

Teaching methodology

Knowing how to teach yoga is as important as learning to do yoga for our self-growth and benefits. You will learn how to give knowledge and present yourself as a teacher with positive body language as adequate use of voice for motivating and create respect and trust in the hearts of students.

You will cover all the aspects of the body language as well as the adequate use of the voice, to create a motivating positive atmosphere as well as to build the trust and respect of the students. You will also learn how to teach in a better and proper way, how to give instructions, how to create an ideal class, and the different styles of teaching and techniques to adapt to different types of students which will help you win their respect and trust.
