Pre-requisites and conditions

This teacher training course welcomes all levels, but many students take this course just to deepen their own practice and knowledge as well. Basic knowledge of asana and yoga philosophy and a regular practice are advised to have an idea of what to expect in this training. This training is suitable for you, and you are more than welcome to join Yoga Fusion Shala if:

  • You want to become more than just an ''asana teacher'' but immerse deeper to bloom into a ''yoga teacher'', embracing yoga in its whole essence and deepest layers, inspiring your students on their own journey while keeping a grounded, radiating integrity of the yoga path
  • You want to enroll but you are not interested in teaching right now (and that is absolutely okay), but rather immerse yourself to explore your abilities and delve deeper physically and mentally. This training is an opportunity to set more than a foundation of having an independent, correct, and safe self-practice and unlock your potential for inner transformation
  • You are a beginner yourself on your yoga journey; embarking with you on this experience will help you to understand the teaching and learning process even better
  • You have already completed a 200-hour teacher training course, and you still do not teach. You still may be feeling lacking in confidence or that you were not given all the right tools and a good start to ''fly out of the nest''. You might have been feeling disappointed, and you are seeking a new vision and wave of inspiration, as now is the time to take your skills and ''surf'' to a whole new level and direction as a yoga teacher. This training will help you to enhance your teaching skills, elevate and enrich your future classes, be more versatile, and deepen your knowledge

The training will be given entirely in English. All training material is in English as well. It is, therefore, necessary that you are familiar with the English language.

About the training

Teaching yoga is a privilege and a powerful responsibility. It is not just about knowing the postures or sharing what you have learned intellectually. It is about embodying the teachings, living your practice, and walking the yogic path with intention, awareness, and heart. A true yoga teacher has a solid personal practice and a deep understanding of teaching methodology, but beyond that, they live their yoga off the mat. The energy (prana) generated through daily practice becomes your inner fuel - your radiance - that naturally inspires your students, your community, and most importantly, yourself. This journey is about turning knowledge into wisdom. It is about integrating what you have learned on the mat into everyday life.

Staying grounded, staying committed, and leading by example. As you deepen your own path, you become a living expression of yoga. Through consistent practice, yoga begins to touch every area of life - bringing vitality, clarity, deeper connection, and a growing sense of purpose and joy. It nurtures your relationships, sharpens your focus, and supports your growth in ways that are both subtle and profound. It helps uncover your unique potential - your hidden gifts - and gives you the tools to expand them. This 200-hour teacher training is more than a certification. It is a transformational experience - a chance to make real, lasting changes in your life.

You will strengthen your practice, your voice, your understanding - and step fully into your role as both a student and teacher of yoga. The last two days of the training conclude with an evaluation, consisting of a written exam. The training will end with a graduation certification circle. Lead trainer for this teacher training course is E-500RYT Thina Chat. Assistant teachers are not teaching on all study dates and circles given for this teacher training course throughout the year.

Why choose this training?

This training blends the standards of Yoga Alliance with Yoga Fusion Shala's years of experience and passion for yoga education. What you will find here is a non-dogmatic, inclusive, and down-to-earth learning environment - guided by experienced teachers who are dedicated to helping you grow, evolve, and step confidently into your role as a teacher. They draw from time-tested traditions within holistic yoga and various classical Hatha yoga systems, while integrating modern science - from anatomy and psychology to biomechanics and teaching methodology.

Their approach bridges East and West, weaving together ancient wisdom with contemporary understanding to make yoga both accessible and deeply transformative in the 21st century. This training is not about fitting into one style or system - it is about discovering your own voice as a teacher. They focus on giving you a strong foundation, so you leave not only with knowledge, but with clarity, confidence, and the tools to lead from a place of authenticity. Yoga Fusion Shala also places special emphasis on the therapeutic potential of yoga. If you are navigating injury or physical limitations, this training offers not just modifications, but a deeper understanding of how to adapt and use yoga as a tool for healing - both for yourself and your future students.

Ultimately, this is more than a certification - it is a journey toward becoming a well-rounded, embodied, and empowered teacher, ready to serve and inspire. Throughout the training, you will explore a wide range of Hatha yoga styles: Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Sivananda, and Iyengar-inspired techniques. You will learn to combine and adapt these practices in a way that resonates with your body, your lifestyle, and your teaching vision. Their intention is to give you a rich toolbox - so you can craft a practice that is uniquely yours and share it meaningfully with others.
