Pre-application requirements
No previous certificate required unless you want to log continuing education hours with the Yoga Alliance, then you are required to be a 200-hour RYT.
You will also need a computer and an internet connection to access the Teachable platform.
Certifications
A certificate will be issued for all students who complete the course, and students who wish to log continuing education hours with Yoga Alliance must complete the course.
How the training works
The instructional videos can only be watched within the course itself, and you will have lifetime access to all of the material. There will be downloadable PDFs, audio lessons, and workbooks throughout the course.
If you would like to receive CE credits, there will be a final assignment due at the end of the course. If you are just taking the course for your personal journey, or are not registered with any Yoga Alliance, then you do not need to complete the final assignment.

During this 30-hour Yin yoga teacher training course, you will learn:
- The origin and tradition of Yin yoga
- Guiding principles
- The theory of Yin and Yang
- Eastern anatomy principles
- The meridian theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine
- The five-element theory of Daoism
- Physiological responses to a Yin yoga practice
- Pranayama techniques to support a Yin practice
- How to intuitively adapt each pose for different bodies
- Prop alternatives for a home-based practice
- Principles of adjustments
- Sequencing according to the five elements
- How to integrate Yin yoga into your daily life
- How to incorporate meditation into your Yin practice / teaching
Flexible duration
This course is entirely self-paced; you can finish in as much time as you need, or as little as five days.
