Angelique can accommodate 29 guests. Amenities were included in her design to make life aboard more comfortable and enjoyable than they would have been on the boats she is modeled after in the late 19th century. One such amenity is the deckhouse saloon - a lounge above deck. The deckhouse is completely protected from the weather with lots of windows and seating.
All available cabins are double occupancy. Most have upper and lower bunk beds, and a few have double beds. There is an option to guarantee a cabin for yourself with a single supplement.
In addition to the bed(s), each cabin has a private sink, mirror, cabin light, reading lights, standing headroom, and natural light. There are sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels provided.
The bathroom, or "heads" as they are called on a boat, is shared and also located below decks. There are three "heads" with three hot water showers. Heads will be cleaned and disinfected 3 times a day. There is one hot water deck shower, too, for rinsing off after a swim in the ocean or rinsing sand from feet after being ashore.
Program
Take a mid-summer break for a restorative and relaxing 4-night sail. This is an all-level yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sailing experience led by two onboard instructors. Enjoy creative, healthy meals to support your body and soul.
While Windjammer Angelique doesn't have a set itinerary because they are a sailboat and direction is dependent on wind and weather, you will have at least one yoga session per day (often two) either on the boat, in the park, or on the beach, depending on where we anchor each evening. The yoga and wellness activities are always optional.
Board the boat anytime after 17:00 on the first date of the cruise. You will leave Camden Harbor the next morning and return to Camden by mid-late morning on the last day of the cruise. The hosts will drop anchor in a new and beautiful harbor or cove every night and sail during the day.
Because the retreat will take place on a sailboat, where you go is dependent on the wind, weather, and tides. There will be shore excursions every day for a chance to walk and see a fishing village, small town, or deserted island.
Coffee will be available by 07:00, and breakfast is at 08:00. Lunch is served underway at noon. Appetizers are served at cocktail hour, followed by dinner at 18:00. All meals are served family-style. One evening, you will anchor off a deserted island for a traditional lobster bake.
There will be daily yoga sessions on the boat or onshore, and wellness workshops offered at different times during the day. A daily itinerary will be presented each morning of the cruise with plenty of free time to enjoy the sailing and scenery.
Included excursions
Shore excursions will happen daily, though where they will be is dependent on wind and tides. Sometimes you will anchor off a small town, a fishing village, a park, or a deserted island. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended as walking surfaces are varied (gravel, grass, dirt, paved, etc.).
