The intention
Rooted in the same integrity and wisdom as the full-length 200-hour training, this two-week journey offers the full depth of a traditional YTT through a carefully curated, immersive format. With the rhythm of the ocean, the warmth of the Baja sun, and the energy of community guiding us, you'll learn, grow, and embody the teachings of yoga from sunrise to sunset.
This is more than a training - it's a transformation.
Curriculum
As a Yoga Alliance-accredited program, the curriculum is thoughtfully designed to meet all Yoga Alliance 200-hour requirements, while being uniquely infused with the wisdom, heart, and soul of The Space Between.
You’ll receive a comprehensive foundation in:
- Asana - Anatomy-informed alignment, functional movement, biomechanics.
- Subtle body - Chakras, nadis, vayus, and energetic awareness
- Pranayama and meditation - Foundational breath and stillness practices
- Yoga philosophy and psychology - Yamas, Niyamas, Kleshas, Samskaras, 8 Limbs
- Teaching methodology - Sequencing, cueing, theming, and practice teaching
- Ethics and lifestyle - Embodying the teachings in everyday life
Through the signature blend of experiential learning, ritual, storytelling, and embodied practice, this curriculum doesn’t just prepare you to teach - it invites you to live your yoga.
The TSB Learning Pillars
The training is rooted in three core learning pillars, which guide how you engage with the material:
- Learn - Through structured, classroom-style lessons and interactive lectures, you'll gain a clear understanding of yoga’s foundations - from philosophy to physicality.
- Experience - Through movement, breath, and shared ritual, you’ll feel the teachings in your own body and mind. Learning becomes a lived, felt experience.
- Embody - Practice teaching begins on day one. With continuous support, you’ll step into the role of teacher - growing in confidence, authenticity, and presence.
A day in the life
While each day is unique and alive with its own magic, here’s a glimpse into your daily rhythm:
- 07:00 Coffee, tea + silent meditation
- 08:00 Embodiment lab: Morning ritual - Vinyasa, energizing pranayama, journaling, movement meditation
- 09:30 Breakfast + optional meditation walk with a new friend
- 11:00 Learning lab: Understanding the body-mind - Asana exploration, biomechanics, subtle body anatomy, yogic psychology
- 13:00 Lunch + quiet time or beach walk
- 14:00 Experience lab: The art of teaching - Sequencing, cueing, theming, hands-on practice teaching
- 18:00 Dinner + sunset activity
- 19:00 Evening ritual - Mantra, mudra, storytelling, sangha sharing, grounding movement
This structure supports a dynamic, engaging, and heart-centered learning experience, while still offering time to reflect, rest, and integrate. This is a sample daily agenda - subject to change and evolution.
