Yoga Teacher Training in India
Rudra Yogpeeth is a registered yoga teacher training school. The training program includes asanas, pranayama, chanting, mantra, meditation, and other traditional yoga techniques as well as anatomy and physiology of yoga. Teaching will include principles of demonstration, observation, assisting and correcting, instruction, and teaching styles. The students will get an opportunity to explore various styles of yoga and to choose a yoga style that best suits their needs according to their fitness level, personality, and career goals for practicing yoga.

About the training
The 300-hour yoga teacher training at Rudra Yogpeeth in Rishikesh, India is held over a period of 28 days. The training lays out a strong foundation for holistically deepening the understanding and practices of yoga. Yoga has become popular in this modern age for its physical practices (“asana”) and aspects that are essential parts of yoga have been largely looked over. In this training, Rudra Yogpeeth makes sure to integrate well-rounded studies of yoga and bring spirituality into the teachings and practices to support the personal and spiritual growth of the students.
Syllabus
The practice of asana in Hatha style
- Daily practice of asana from intermediate to advanced level
- Technique, sequence, and modifications of asana
- Limitations and benefits of asana
- Theoretical explanations with references to traditional yogic texts
Practice of pranayama
Daily practice of pranayama i.e., Suryabhedana, Ujjayi, Bhastrika, Bhramari, Nadi Shodhana, Shitali, Sitkari, with the references to traditional Hatha yogic text.
Practice of cleansing process (shat-karma)
- Kapalbhati: Cleansing of lungs
- Jal-Neti, and Rubber Neti: Cleansing of nostrils and nasal passage
- Kunjal, and Shankh Pracchalana: Cleansing of the GI tract
- Nouli: Strengthening of intestines
- Trataka: Cleansing of eyes
Alignment of postures
Experiential understanding of postures with proper alignment.
Practice of Intermediate Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa
Practical exposure of asana in a determined flow of Ashtanga with all the respective techniques.
Yoga philosophy
Conceptual and practical understanding of Shrimad Bhagavat Gita.
Yoga anatomy
To understand the effect of applied yoga practices on each system of the body for wellness.
Vedic physiology
Understand energy, Kosha, Chakra, Kundalini.

Instructors
Gagan Yogi
Gagan Yogi is the founder of Rudra Yogpeeth. Gagan Yogi belongs to Rishikesh, the world capital of yoga. He started his journey at the age of 12, graduated from a university, and during the journey of yoga, Gagan Yogi has been practicing Iyengar Yoga with Guruji Raju Batra. He has also practice Hatha yoga, Vinyasa, Ashtanga yoga, yoga therapy, and traditional sequence of yoga from Bihar School of yoga under the guidance of Swami Shiv Dhyanam Ji and Swami Shankaracharya Ji. He has been teaching yoga for 13 years, including 8 years of experience in China.
Anuj Yogi
Born in Uttarakhand Uttarkashi, Yogi Anuj Pal has experience in the field of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga style of yoga. He completed his Master’s in Yoga (Yogacharya) from Himalayiya Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Dehradun, and has been practicing yoga for the last 12 years.
Vishal Yogi
Vishal Ji, RYT 500, specializes in the Hatha, Kriya Yoga. He started practicing yoga from a very young age, which helped him gain critical insights into life.
