Mindfulness meditation in Rishikesh is the practice of paying attention to the present moment with an accepting and non-judgmental disposition. Program
The human mind always wanders, either reviewing the past or planning for the future. Mindfulness activities teach you the skill of paying attention to the present and noticing when your mind wanders off. At Real Happiness Meditation School, the mindfulness meditation program is taught and structured well. Mindfulness meditation in Rishikesh is a certified course well-suited for therapists, counselors, teachers, social workers, parents, and other professionals.
This course builds resilience and awareness to help people learn how to ride life’s ups and downs and live happier and healthier lives. This mindfulness meditation retreat offers an in-depth introduction to the foundations of mindfulness meditation. The program focuses especially on the practical implementation of mindfulness meditation, rather than just a conceptual understanding.
Mindful breathing
The easiest way to do mindful breathing is to pay close attention to your breath. By bringing awareness to the breath, you become aware of the tendency of the mind to jump from one thing to another.
Body scan
Body Scan is one of the popular exercises of mindfulness practice as it is simple and easily accessible for most beginners. The purpose is to connect to your physical self and notice any sensation without any judgment.
Mindful listening
Mindful listening is a vital skill and can be a great mindfulness exercise, especially when practiced in a group. This mindful activity creates an inner stillness for the listener without judgment, criticism, or interruption.
Five senses experience
In the five senses exercise, you need to notice something you are experiencing with the five senses. Look around and bring your awareness to five things you can see, smell, taste, hear, and touch for a few moments each.
Syllabus
The main syllabus is theory classes, which include mindful eating, mindful listening, mindful gardening, and five-senses exercise. It helps to understand basic mindfulness activities, the science of mindfulness meditation, and its benefits. The course will be complemented by Shatkarma (body cleansing), Pranayama, and outdoor excursions such as a trek to the waterfall, beaches of the river Ganges to understand the healing of nature, village visits to explore culture, outdoor sessions, and much more. The ability you need for the course is your great interest, carefully listening and understanding, a non-argumentative attitude, no ego, just accepting nature's creations and flowing with life easily.
