"Relaxing Paradise "
From the moment I arrived I was welcomed by Puri Bagus gracious staff. The location overlooking the beach was amazing, daily swims, fantastic vegetarian meals made by quality chef & trips to Ubud & surrounding villages for local culture. My yoga instructors were caring & I felt great after my 10 day stay. Thanks to Iyu the manager for offering professional & personal experience & making my stay a wonderful experience- I look forward to returning again.

"There were 3 different instructors, each was different"
The yoga room is spectacular. Morning and evening sessions are different as the sun moves and creates a different atmosphere. Being right on the ocean is simply wonderful. There were towels, mats, blocks and water supplied. All the classes rant on time and to time and each instructor definately knew their yoga

It was great!
Really amazing place. It is beautiful and tranquil. Rooms have all you need fronting a warm and swimmable sea with fantastic views. The yoga twice a day was held in a beautiful studio with garden and sea views. Our instructor Kadak kept classes interesting and varied. She and all other resort staff were kind, attentive and went over and above to make our stay memorable. The perfect place to rejuvenate with many extra activities such as diving, dolphin watching, traditional Balinese cooking classes, trekking through rice plantations and climbing mount Batur just to name a few. Food in the resort restaurant was always of high quality, well presented and served with the utmost attention to detail.
As you can tell I am gushingly happy with my stay at Puri Bagus in Lovina. I was sad to leave and would definitely try to visit again in the future.

"Nice setting, but lacking"
The gardens and the setting are very pretty. The yoga studio was lovely. The dolphin tour was nice. The staff were pleasant and helpful.
The location in the little village was good There are a couple of other restaurants/ cafe/ bars within a 2 min walk and a small shop owned by Julie whose husband it also a driver so we spoke to them a few times.

"Just as advertised w"
Book an airport transfer.
Lovina is gorgeous, but you have to travel for it. I arrived at 3am, so it wasn't until later on in the morning that I properly got to see where I was staying. Every stunning photo from TripAdvisor was real. The staff couldn't do enough to help, the trips were great, the yoga was just enough to push you out of your comfort zone and the grounds were paradise.

"Most relaxed and enjoyable week of my life"
The staff were fantastic! The resorts grounds are beautiful and so nicely maintained, the resort is situated on a large piece of land in front of the beach so you feel like you're in your own paradise. I loved the food, and the room and EVERYTHING!!! So good!!

"Perfect Balinese retreat "
Everything was just perfect. The location of the resort is breath taking, the facilities are modern and beautiful, the food is delicious but the best thing was the staff, the people itself. Everyone was super kind and geniue, I've got all the help I needed and even more. I can't be thankful enough for everything I've got from these people. The whole package let you to get to know the Balinese culture and its beautiful people. I would rather call it "Balinese retreat" because of all the great activities. Yoga was great but having more than once a day would be even better.

"Everything was perfect (but)"
I absolutely loved this retreat. It was actually one of my favorite parts of my trip ( I was here for a month). The resort is top notch and very luxurious. The staff was very kind and accommodating and Ayu, the woman who runs the hotel is absolutely FABULOUS. Our yoga instructor was amazing, she was very nice, and gauged the skill level of our group perfectly.

Every member of the staff at Pur Bagus was genuinely warm, friendly, charming, and hard working, going out of their way to make us feel special and give us a perfect holiday. The schedule Ayu set up for us for our 9 days allowed us to experience a wide variety of cultural and recreational activities, even time to relax by the pool and watch the sunset.

"Highly recommended yoga retreat with spa and excursions "
I travelled by myself which was no worries at all at this place. Got picked up at the airport and everything worked out perfectly each day. Very friendly people with great service and excellent food. The excursion makes the retreat perfect as you get to see very interesting parts of Bali as well. Very relaxing place with a beautiful spa of great value. Everyone knew your name and I was very well taken care of.

"Not really a yoga retreat "
The staff are fantastic and will go out of there way to help you. The location is very serene and quiet.

"Retiro de yoga combinado con otras actividades"
El lugar, las instalaciones: habitaciones, resort, restaurante, piscina, spa, sala de yoga...todo está perfectamente cuidado con todo detalle. Pero sin duda alguna, destaca sobretodo la amabilidad, la dedicación, la atención, el cuidado con el que todos, absolutamente todos los empleados, cuidan al cliente.
Sin dudarlo ni un segundo, repetiría el mismo viaje...

"Wunderbare Erholung in Lovina"
The Yoga retreat in Puri Bagus Lovina was exactly what I have needed. I traveled alone and stayed in the resort for 12 days end Feb & early March. I for sure plan to come back :) hopefully again next year. Before I came to resort, I got excellent support from Mrs.Auy helping me book my stay and pick the best options. She was very kind and patient and even more nice in person! I worked in customer experience area for years, so was really delighted with the way that the staff in hotel treated me. It never happened to me before that the waiter would know my daily schedule and ask me if I am looking forward to it or how it was. This was not only kind but also practical (you know the feeling when you start relax and forget what kind of day it is or what was planned :-) ) The manager of restaurant was also very kind and nice, always took time to stop by and chat for a while.
I had "negative" experience first night seeing Gekon's in my cabin...imagine I have never seen Gekons before and normaly have issues falling asleep when seeing spider :D. The staff tried to explained to me they are normal and they don't hurt you, were very nice to me and even offered to move to other cabin next day... I decided to stay & after couple of days made my peace with it and took it that this is my first Bali lesson - fight my fears! So happy ending .
The Spa, food and hotel area - all was excellent. Missing the massages & magical hands of the ladies in SPA, it was really heaven.
When it comes to yoga, I need admit it was not excellent - some Yoga classes were amazing and some average... it really depends who leads the class. The guy was obviously missing intuition/teaching skills that the other ladies had for sure... he really tried, maybe with time it will get better but to give honest review, I need admit I have enjoyed the classes led by the ladies more, their yoga lessons were just amazing. As mentioned I for sure plan come back and would like this way to thank the team for amazing time I had earlier in year
