"Amazing experience in a gorgeous location"
I was welcomed by the very friendly team with „Welcome Home“ and thats how I felt during my entire stay!
I had a beautiful villa all to myself and I felt very comfortable directly on arrival.
My Yoga teacher, Tini was amazing. She „tortured me“ :) but it was an amazing one on one yoga sessions. I learned a lot, especially that my body needs more stretching😂
The experience with the healer was my highlight. It was an emotional day but very positiv. Thank you for that experience.
The staff is very friendly and always helpful. They have always a smile on their face and it seemed like they love their job :)
The property is a little outside the city. Facility offers a free shuttle or you can always use grab to get to the city with a scooter. It was not an issue for me. I loved to be a little outside the noise of the city.

Our stay at Purana was pure bliss. From the warm, accommodating staff to the beautifully designed rooms, every detail made us feel at home. The yoga sessions were led by a skilled teacher who guided us through challenging poses with ease, helping us deepen our practice.
A highlight was the cooking course, where we learned to make delicious Indonesian dishes in a fun, welcoming setting. This retreat was everything we hoped for and more—a true slice of heaven in Indonesia. We can’t wait to return to our new second home!

The staff were fabulous. They always used our names when addressing us. The food was out of this world. A real gem of a hotel. They truly customized our vacation. Our yoga instructor was lovely and she understood what level of practice we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort and I hope to return in the future. "Yoga in a beautiful resort villa"
This was my first yoga retreat in Ubud and I didn’t know what to expect but it far exceeded my expectations. My villa and pool were absolutely beautiful. The Villa had an enormous, comfortable bed, was stocked with fresh fruit and 4 bottles of water daily and was well equipped and spacious. The Villa faced the pool which was shared by a few rooms only. However I had the pool to myself while I was here. The private one-on-one yoga was conducted by Tini on my deck next to the pool. The yoga was yoga and therapy combined and was divine. The staff were amazing, the breakfasts on the pool deck were delicious. The program and inclusions were explained in detail by the staff and their in-house information folder was also very informative about their facilities in general. I ate my included dinner upstairs above reception watching the sun set. The staff could not have been more accommodating. I chose to have the included massage at their sister resort instead of my room and I was so happy I did. The sister resort was lovely with beautiful artwork on the walls. The massage was also divine. I loved the healing experience and temple visit. The shuttle to and from the resort to the town was very good because the resort is not close enough to town to walk. There was plenty of time for sightseeing. I was travelling solo and felt safe during my time here. The included one-way transfer was very appreciated. I absolutely loved this luxurious experience.

"The best stay!"
Cannot fault this hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt very welcomed. The hotel room and outdoor spaces were very clean, and the room came equip with all the amenities you need, including mosquito repellent!
I want to give a special thank you to Agusta who took me on both of my day trips, I had a great time! And to Tini the yoga instructor, she was very good at pushing me to do better and had a very warm energy.
I would highly recommend this hotel to stay, solo or in a group/ pair. I had a wonderful time. The food is also delicious, everything was freshly prepared.

"Unforgettable "
Private yoga every morning on the rooftop in the immaculate 4 star Purana Suite hotel, with the amazing Tini. I love that this retreat is supporting a Balinese business. Tini will adjust the level depending on your yoga experience. Expect pranayama if you are a beginner and strength based for experienced yogis. The private sessions provided the adjustments I was looking for and felt challenged every day after my session. Post yoga, feel pampered everyday by the hotels excellent service. This is a solo retreat but you never feel lonely because the staff go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and become to know you and your journey. I learnt so much Balinese culture from the staff which made by stay extra meaningful. Close enough to Ubud centre to explore during the day. I definitely feel like I’ve been able to deepen my practice and feel more confident of what I am capable of.

Ich bin schon viel verreist unter anderem auch in hochpreisigen Hotelketten, aber diese warme und herzliche Art der Gastfreundschaft wie in Purana ist mir noch nie begegnet. Bei Purana wird sich um alles gekümmert und ist definitiv die Top Adresse in Ubud. Um das Hotel herum gibt es weitere Cafés und Restaurants sowie ein Club mit großer Poolanlage, so dass man auch außerhalb des Hotels abwechslungsreich essen gehen kann. Die Anlage ist wie ein kleines grünes Paradies und sehr gepflegt. Das Hotel bietet einen Shuttle an um ins Centrum zu kommen, als Alleinreisende ist das ein grosses plus. In dem von mir gebuchten Paket ist alles enthalten gewesen um das typische Bali kennenzulernen, dabei war vor allem die Yoga Stunde ganz besonders sowie die Massagen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Ich bin zu 100% erholt zurück gekommen und würde immer wieder dieses Hotel wählen und empfehlen. Vielen lieben Dank

"Viajando sola"
Quería realizar mi primer viaje sola y para ello decidí empezarlo con un retiro de yoga en Ubud. Fue un acierto hacerlo en este hotel.
Todo el personal siempre se mostró muy atento y servicial, con una sonrisa siempre. Mi profesora Tini fue más que una profesora, me hizo conectarme con mi yo más profundo, me propuso técnicas y posturas nuevas para mí que disfruté muchísimo. Agradezco tanto haberla conocido… es una bellísima persona con una energía muy pura. Sin duda, si pensáis en desaparecer un ratito de vuestra vida frenética, este lugar es el adecuado.
El chofer que me llevó a la excursión programada: Weyan, fue un auténtico guía, chofer y muy buen fotógrafo ;P , siempre dispuesto a inmortalizar los momentos que le pedía :)
La cena romántica conmigo misma fue un poco de risa cuando lo pensaba jajaja pero muy bonita y agradable.
Los tratamientos incluidos fueron lo más! A quién no le gusta que le masajeen? :P
Gracias a todo el personal que siempre estuvo muy atento y consiguió que me relajase y conectase conmigo misma.

J ai passé un séjour magnifique et de très grande qualité au Purana Boutique Resort
Tini la prof de yoga est super car elle vous fait également des massages thérapeutiques
J ai adoré le dîner aux chandelles
l équipe mets tous ses efforts pour que ce soit un moment magique et le repas préparé par le chef cuisinier était excellent
Puis j ai adoré la beauté et le confort de la villa privée puis de la chambre avec piscine privée
J ai adoré également le massage et le soin du visage et pour ces deux derniers j ai demandé à ce que ce soit fait directement dans leur salon au Purana suites plutôt que dans la chambre
Et puis la journée passée avec August en excursion était extra
August est très professionnel et a le vrai sens du service client avec une bonne communication en anglais et fait tout son possible pour que vous soyez satisfait merci à lui

"Bali Retreat November 2023"
The whole experience far exceeded my expectations. It’s hard to pick which was my favorite- the accommodations, yoga morning classes with Tini in our villa, the private cooking lesson or the personal service provided by the entire staff but especially by Augus. They went above and beyond with the special surprises for my friend’s birthday. It was all very special. If you’re looking for a wonderful experience in the center of Bali, I’d highly recommend Purana Boutique Resort.

"Best retreat I could wish for"
I really enjoyed my stay at Purana Suite. The entire staff was extremely friendly, that made me feel so warm and cozy. Tini was the best yoga teacher I could wish for. She simply did a great job and I’m so glad I met her. Noru was an amazing driver that took me around town for my purification and the cooking class was so well prepared and fun.

"Amazing me time with yoga and massage"
The staff at Purana boutique resort are some of the friendliest and nicest people I’ve met. So welcoming of a single traveller. I extended my stay by 1 night with an extra session of yoga and massage as I felt 2 nights just wasn’t enough for a “retreat”. It was so value for money. One on one yoga sessions are excellent with Tini! Never have I ever had such a good stretch and workout. She worked on me on every level including therapy. Massages every day too! What more can you ask for. Breakfast by the pool right outside the room. It was jus bliss.
And there is a great coffee place just outside the resort.

Dex Tini war eine wunderbare Yogalehrerin. Ich hätte mir niemand besseren wünschen können.
Der Platz auf der Hotelterrasse, wo das Yoga stattfand war super schön.
Das Hotel war ideal gelegen um Essengehen, Shoppen,etc. und alle Mitarbeitenden waren super freundlich und sehr kompetent in ihrer Arbeit.
Ich fühlte mich als Alleinreisende rundum wohl.

"Toller Aufenthalt"
Mir gefiel einfach alles - die Mitarbeiter waren so nett zu jeder Zeit und sehr zuvorkommend - es wurde einem immer weiter geholfen und super um einen gekümmert- die yoga Stunden und die Massagen waren ebenfalls super.
Die Lage war ebenfalls gut, circa 15 Minuten Fußweg zum Zentrum. Ein kostenloser shuttle wird angeboten.
Ich werde das Resort auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!

"Prachtige lokatie en een onvergetelijke reis"
Wij vonden alles leuk, prachtige lokatie in de rijstvelden, personeel is erg service gericht en niets is te veel. Onze butler Arya was erg aardig en ook voor hem was niets te veel. De yoga lessen begonnen erg vroeg (op de andere lokatie van Purana) 7 u maar ook voor Ibu was dit geen probleem en haar lessen waar zeer goed.

"Amazing Honeymoon"
We had the most amazing time celebrating our honeymoon at Purana. They really went above and beyond to make our time, unforgettable. From the airport pick-up, Arya, and the entire team made us feel welcomed and that we were amongst friends. Purana is quaint and quiet. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves. Meals, tea, and massages were all served to our room. We had private yoga sessions in areas where we were not disturbed. Arya took us all to all the sites we wanted to see, even suggesting more fun options. If we mentioned we liked coffee, he took us to a coffee plantation, if we mentioned a butterfly was beautiful, he brought us to a butterfly observatory. We can not thank you enough for all of your effort! Thank you Arya and the Purana family for memories that will last us a lifetime. We look forward to visiting again soon.

"Wonderful short yoga and massage retreat "
I had a wonderful and peaceful break. The resort was fantastic and the food great. Really enjoyed the daily yoga and massage. Most of all, the staff (Tude, Putri, August, Nita just to name just a few) were excellent. They were always smiling and attentive. They also accommodated, without hesitation, changes to my itinerary. "Beautiful villa in a peaceful location."
We have travelled but this is by far the best place we have stayed for the price paid.The villa is gorgeous, private and we were attended to like VIPs. August our butler couldn’t have been better at his job. I wish he worked for me! Daily yoga next to our private pool was a real motivator then breakfast delivered just after was such a treat. We are already planning a longer stay.

Best things about my stay at Purana included:
1) Beautiful villa with private pool - my bath and shower was situated outside which was amazing. Only thing I would say is that if you are scared of spiders, mossies and all other flying things (like I am), I would think twice about staying in Ubud on a whole as it is a tropical location and you will encounter unwanted critters, big and small, throughout your stay
2) I had never done yoga before but my instructor was very patient, kind and made me feel extremely comfortable
3) Breakfast served every morning in my villa - this was honestly the best part and what I love most about boutique resorts. The breakfast menu was extensive with a huge variety to choose from. I even had a "floating breakfast" on one of the days which was lovely :)
5) Private excursion trip around the North of Ubud - I paid 600,000 IDR for half a day excursion to see some temples, the view of Mount Batung, Tegalalang Rice Terrace and the Monkey Forest. My butler, Adi, escorted me on this trip and provided some historical context at each location. They have a plethora of excursions on offer and even let you amend some of the locations to suit your preference
Overall, I would DEFINITELY recommend staying here. Such a beautiful resort and top notch customer service.

"Amazingly peaceful"
I had a most amazing stay at Purana Boutique Resort. The staff were so friendly, obliging and efficient. My villa was immaculate and had everything I needed for my break. It was so quiet and peaceful and I didn't even see another guest. My meals were exquisite. I wish I had stayed there longer. For my first holiday on my own it was probably one of if not my best. "AMAZING"
The personal service and care were second to none! The staff was incredibly friendly. The location is a bit remote, but my friend and I were looking for a quiet getaway to do some yoga & meditation. The hotel provides many options for getting into the city center. The food here was excellent as well!
