  • Banana Beach: Just five minutes walk south from Original surf camp sand bottom point, very long and harmless right hander. It is 13 kilometers north of Agadir city.
  • Devils Rock: Just five minutes walk from Original surf camp and is 14 kilometers north from Agadir city. Great for beginners offering punchy lefts and rights with a mainly sandy bottom. You will also find the restaurant at Brahim specialty fish.
  • Panoramas: A sand bottom point break just 5 minutes by car north of Original surf camp, perfect for beginners or intermediates looking for cruisy stress-free waves.
  • Hash Point: It is 10 minutes by car north of original surf camp, this spot is in the center of Taghazout. The right-hander wave works with a medium to large swell; it works only on a west swell and at mid to high tides.
  • Mysteries: It is 20 minutes by car north of original surf camp, and is a sandy beach break perfect for all levels. One of the few spots that is better with more tide.
  • Anchor Point: It is 15 minutes by car north of original surf camp. The first wave in the area and unfortunately the most crowded. Suitable for long and short boarders. One of the most sheltered and obvious spots from large swell to strong north winds, can be the only spot holding a massive swell.
  • La Source: It is 25 minutes by car north from Original surf camp. Its a perfect surf spot for all levels of surfing abilities, the right hand wave with small reef sections.
  • Killer Point : It is 25 minutes by car north from Original surf camp. A deep water right hand point break best on large WNW or NW swells and low to mid tides with long walls breaking from the outside across the bay.
  • Draculas: It is 35 minutes by car north from original surf camp, a heavy deep water. Pick up the most swell of anywhere on the coast.
  • Boilers: It is 40 minutes by car north from original surf camp and is a challenging and dangerous wave. Often visited by pro photographers for the intensity of pictures available, an enjoyable spot.
  • Tamri: It is 45 minutes by car north from original surf camp, a beach break and strong currents. It is for all levels.

"I went on a one-day surfing lesson with one of the instructors - Yasin. He drove me to the Devil's Rock Beach, which is one of the main destinations for surfers and it's just a great beach overall."

"Yasin was very helpful, he gave me clear instructions about technique and safety, and I was able to stand on a board by myself in a couple of hours. He watched me the whole time and provided helpful tips. I would definitely recommend this place and maybe even come back here myself sometime."

"Wonderful camp! I liked it from the first time when I was here in September 2015. In the second time I didn't even think where to go. Excellent crew. Very qualified, friendly, and helpful. Nice house with plenty of comfortable rooms and places for relax. Amazing view from the terrace on the village and the ocean. Not far from the beach. After surfing, you can relax on the terrace, watch movies, play pool, or just chat with the other guys. Very tasty breakfasts and excellent Moroccan dinner every evening. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful holiday. Wait for me in the next year. All the best."

The surfing was great too; depending on the wave conditions there are loads of nice spots nearby to surf. Would love to go again!"

"It was my first time in Morocco and I was looking for a nice place that matches my requirements. When I found Original Surf I immediately fell in love with it. Nice house with several lounge zones, cozy rooftop terrace with a great ocean view (where I've done some yoga in the morning), several bathrooms, amazing food. "

"By the way I and my boyfriend staid in a tween room. It's nice to have a piece if privacy from time to time. The village is really quiet, which allows you to have a good rest after a busy surf day."

"During breakfasts and dinners we had a plenty of interesting chats with different people. Games, music, campfires in the evenings - that creates a friendly and warm atmosphere. "

"The area has plenty of different surf spots to offer. So you are free to go to another spot when forecast changes and get your fun. Instructors are always nice, cheerful, and helpful. "

"Plenty of boards to choose from. For every skill level and conditions. I'd prefer to bring my own wet suit , but camp has a good variety of sizes so it's ok to get a local one. The weather was mostly warm. Even though sometimes it was windy. And conditions were pretty ok for an intermediate or a beginner surfer. There's a bunch of spots with sandy bottoms which is nice for beginners. "

"Everyone in the camp is very nice and responsive. If you need something, just ask. Every possible request was fulfilled. There's still some small stuff to be improved soon. But the camp has so much to offer. If I'll have a chance to return in Morocco, definitely would stay with Original Surf again."

"And now some special thanks. Abdellah is a nice responsible chef, a brilliant instructor, and a very friendly host. Ladies in the kitchen always kept our bellies full with delicious food. Yassin, Rach, and George all helped us to have a wonderful time in the ocean and after surf. Eglantine and Ross got me some nice photos and helped in my yoga practice. Every person there seemed as a long time friend. And I've met lots of wonderful interesting and inspiring people. Thank you Original Surf!"

"I can't praise this place enough! Huge thanks to Abdellah and all the team for making it such a special time...We are still missing this place like crazy! We had so much fun. The surf instructors Rach and Yas (and little Abdellah!) got us standing up, made sure we were safe and kept us smiling all holiday! Everything was brilliant, great company and we had a great time every evening (you can go to bed early or party til the wee hours if you like!). The food was delicious and there was a different meal every night, and good sized, clean rooms. The house is always spotless! Nothing was a problem... they changed the yoga times for us so we could make the most of it (we are not morning people!), they washed my clothes free of charge and took us on a day trip (for free!) on a rare day when there was no surf. Overall, I still have a huge smile on my face from this holiday."

"The house has two rooftops with ocean view. Breakfast and dinner are served on one of the roof tops so you can enjoy excellent local food and view. Food is prepared by local women and it was really great. They offer vegetarian meals and they will listen to your wishes about food. "

"Owner and surf teacher are speaking English very good so there is no problem with communication. They can pick up or drop you off on airport or bus station without a hassle. They organize all kinds of trips. We went to desert for sand surfing. It was amazing. If I will go surfing again, I will definitely stay at Original Surf Morocco!"

The place was clean, great views, and location. Food was always fresh, plentiful, and amazing. Also they know how to throw a good party, but also was just as equal at chilling. "We spent a great week at the Original Surf, Tamghart, Morocco. We were there as a family with big teenagers, unlike most other guests, and we all enjoyed both the fantastic morning yoga, we can really recommend yoga instructor Fi, and the surf instruction. We were beginners in terms of surfing, but had a great time with host Abdullah, Yasin, and Rachid. There was a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere at the hotel, lovely food, and a wonderful view from the top terrace. Do go to Original Surf Morocco, if you are planning to go to Morocco or want to have a lovely holiday with yoga, surfing, and relaxation."

"I booked a yoga and surfing deal I found on the Internet for my boyfriend Ben, who surfs anyway, but I fancied giving it a go too. The booking process with Anne, prior to going, was completely painless and she helpfully answered any questions I had. Although I had not been to a surf camp before (so didn't really know what to expect) I was blown away by the hospitality and kindness of all the staff at Original Surf Morroco. From Anne who helps organise the bookings and is great to chat to, to Abdullah (the owner) who is just incredibly friendly and has the most infectious laugh."

"Youssef and Yassin (brilliant surf instructors) are so patient and despite telling me the same things over and over again (I would have been annoyed with me if I had been them!) they kept their cool and I was able to stand on a surfboard on the first day! Omar the chef produced the BEST meals for breakfast and dinner - huge variety and so so tasty. Lunch was provided on the beach each day.I managed to make 2 morning yoga sessions with the brilliant Petra at 7.30am, and although it was early, it really prepped you for a days surfing and it was such a gorgeous setting on the roof terrace with the sun rising and the sea behind you.The staff made you feel so comfortable with the little things like taking you to have the amazing 'local drink' which was avocado smoothie after surfing, just chilling and chatting over dinner, and fire and music on the terrace one evening, made it such a great stay.We were only supposed to stay 3 nights but couldn't bear leaving so we stayed an extra! Definitely a 'home from home' kinda place...we will hopefully be back soon. Miss you all already!"

"I went to Original Surf Morocco with 3 other girls and from the moment we arrived I felt completely welcome and at home. Every morning we got up and did an hours yoga on the terrace with a view of the see and the wonderful Fee as our teacher who was absolutely lovely and the best start to the day. Then a good brekki (had the most amazing cake one day) and off surfing with Youssef and Yassim with good tunes for the drive down and always wondering what the amazing packed lunch was going to be. The guys were so patient for teaching the surfing, with brilliant sense of humour even when they were constantly repeating themselves. Then we came back in the evenings for dinner and a chill out where we learnt some crazy Moroccan card game or some Uno or Jenga or chatting to Ann who has some brilliant travel stories. One day we had a trip out to Paradise Valley which was a beautiful place to visit. Abdullah (the owner) also joined in on some surf lessons and like the other guys was incredibly patient and encouraging. I have never been quite so determined to want to achieve something and definitely have the surfing bug now."

"As well as a great surfing experience, we also learnt a lot about Morrocan culture with the guys being open and ready to answer any particular questions that we had. I definitely learnt a lot.If you want alcohol for the evenings then one of the guys will happily take you to Agidir to the off license to get some in and on the last day they also got a local girl in to do Henna.I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good surfing experience/ wants to try this for the first time and to completely relax and enjoy some good food and company. I would happily go and stay here on my own as well as everyone here just made you feel you were part of the family. I was so sad to leave and will definitely be back. :)"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Original Surf Morocco - the place is so relaxed! Even though it was low season and I was the only one at the camp I never felt lonely or alone and yet never felt overwhelmed either, it's a really convivial atmosphere.Abdullah (the owner) is a really chilled out, accommodating guy with a ready smile and a totally hospitable attitude - he and his brother Omar (the amazing cook) dealt with my gluten free diet with no problem, even though it's totally at odds with the moroccan diet. The surf instructors Yussef and Yassim are two patient and fun guys - but so cheeky! Watch out girls! Lol. They got me standing up on the first day and were really patient with me when I was failing thereafter. They also usually share a meal or two with you at the camp and will answer any questions you have about the local area or Moroccan culture in general - they're really lovely guys. Yoga with Chantion at the terrace was also a highlight as we're the nightly dinners watching the sunset, I felt really blissed and chilled out at all times - so much so that I can't wait to return next year. Thanks again Abdullah, Yussef, and Yassim - I had a great week!"

The hospitality we received was second to none; the place is very light and airy, clean, and nicely decorated; there is a good variety of food (large portions) as well to set you up for the surf, at lunch time, and in the evening! The local beaches are very good for beginners, as well as all round abilities. If you want to learn to surf, the teachers here will definitely be able to teach you. They are all very experienced surfers, knowledgeable about the waves, friendly personalities, and posses different all round qualities.Overall we had a very lovely week, caught loads of waves, lost some weight, got amazing tans, met some some nice people, and had a jolly good time! "Original Surf Morroco and its team are the best. I only spent few days with them but I had an amazing time. Perfect location, warm house which makes you feel like home, the food is excellent, a super nice staff. I had a lot of fun and wished to stay longer. I loved Tamraght and the village close by: banana village (Aourir) where I couldnt help but shopped a lot. It is easy to shop the local products as there is always someone from the team coming with you. As I was a beginner I learned a lot about surfing. The instructors took time and really good care of me. They explained and taught me the basics and at the end I was able to stand on my board and take small waves from the foam by myself. I highly recommend this place for surfing and learn about Moroccos culture. For 2014 I wish to come back and improve my surfing with them. Its definitely the place to be! "

"I spent 9 days in this surf camp in October 2014. It was my first trip to Morocco and also my first surfing experience. I want to say thanks to Abdullah, Yassin, Youssef, and Hassan for teaching me how to surf, for the hospitality, friendly atmosphere in the camp, and the delicious food. The surf camp is located on a hillside and has a nice terrace on the rooftop, offering an amazing ocean view. There is everything you need for surfing, like boards and wetsuits in your size. Some really good surf spots are located not far from the camp. I had a very good time, met other surfers, awesome guys from all over the world. Thanks a lot!"

"So you've already read the rest of the reviews and know that Original Surf is awesome. I spent a week with the good folks at Original Surf and here are some things others did not touch on.This place is clean. really clean. Not only do they wash the facilities daily, they also wash the pillow and couch covers in all the sitting areas. Even the floors throughout the buildings are washed. Also, the WiFi is good. You're there to surf right? These guys are extremely patient and knowledgable. in short, they are fantastic teachers. Always smiling, always making things fun. You WILL surf here and be good at it too. And, they have an awesome high end camera that they'll take to the beach and take shots of you. The pictures turned out great, and guess what? They do it for free! The owner, Abdellah, really knows how to run a business well. He's very involved and a very kind man. He'll make sure you have a great time. The food is authentic and made with love by very sweet lady Zara. Omar is the best. I'll leave it to you to discover the rest."

"We spent a week with the chaps in Tamraght at the start of February. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We had a superb time. We surfed all day and spent the evenings under the stars, smoking sheesha on the terrace or on the beach with a bonfire. The food was great. I've been making the cumin covered omelet since I've been back! The rooms are basic but clean and we had a separate shower in ours. Tamraght is a bit quiet but if you're looking for a party town you'd be best not going to this part of Morocco anyway. Definitely would recommend."

"We spent our honeymoon in Tamraght, learning to surf with help from the awesome folks at the Original Surf Morocco camp, and we had such a great time. The accommodation was great and we only have good things to say about the camp and the lovely staff. We felt like all our needs were taken care of and beyond: quality surfing coaching, great food (vegetarian as requested), help whenever you needed and good, sunny company every day. So if you're heading to Tamraght or anywhere nearby, you should definitely stay at Original Surf Morocco. A big thank you to all of you guys at the camp. Our honeymoon couldn't have been better, and we hope to come back some day."
