This is more than a traditional yoga retreat. Alongside accessible, guided yoga sessions with two experienced teachers, each bringing a different style, you’ll enjoy guided walks through breathtaking landscapes. These walks will weave in moments of stillness, guided meditation, and mindfulness practices, allowing you to fully connect with the natural world around you.
Optional experiences such as Reiki and a specialized face yoga and lymphatic drainage workshop offer further opportunities to relax, rebalance, and feel rejuvenated. Everything is optional, giving you the freedom to fully rest, explore, and make the experience your own.
What to expect
- Morning yoga – Start the day with revitalizing yet soothing sequences to gently awaken and uplift the body, calm the mind, and set a positive tone for the day ahead
- Evening yoga – Unwind with deep, nourishing stretches and long-held postures that allow the release of both physical and emotional tension. Evening sessions are complemented by optional Reiki for those who wish to receive, restoring balance and preparing for a restful night’s sleep

- Participate as much or as little as preferred in the activities offered, or simply take time out, relax, and enjoy the stunning views at a World Heritage Site in the heart of the English Lake District.
- Peaceful accommodation – Stay at Yewfield Hotel, a serene retreat set in 80 acres of private grounds, featuring peaceful gardens and a cozy lounge with a log fire

John
John's fascination with Yoga started when injuries restricted his love for running and hiking. He found Yoga to be a kinder activity for the body, and was the beginning of a journey that changed everything. Inspiration and training from respected teachers like Norman Blair and Gaby Mass led him to qualify as a teacher specialising in Yin yoga. Passionate about increasing awareness about the benefits of a Yin practice. He has a passion for the outdoors and now runs Yoga retreats in the Lake District where Yoga and nature provide the perfect combination for "Nature and Yoga Immersion" retreats.
Rosa
Rosa has 15+ years of experience practicing and teaching yoga worldwide, trained in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative styles. Her approach blends ancient wisdom with modern research, combining philosophy, functional movement, and breathwork to support physical and mental wellbeing. With a qualification in Yoga Therapy for Digestive Health, Rosa is passionate about yoga’s therapeutic benefits. She is also a qualified Reiki practitioner and Pilates instructor, bringing a holistic blend of energy work alongside a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology into her teaching.

Yewfield offers vegetarian breakfast and dinner. A packed lunch is provided on Saturday. For lunch on Sunday, the walk will take you to a local village, where there will be options to buy a snack or a meal of your choice. You are welcome to bring your own drinks and snacks which can be stored in a communal fridge.
