Physical fitness
A moderate level of physical fitness is recommended, as the retreat includes guided hikes through forests, cliffs, volcanic terrain, and levada trails. Participants should feel comfortable walking for approximately 2–4 hours on varied terrain. All activities are optional, and guests are encouraged to honor their own pace and energy levels.

Mary Tilson is a yoga teacher, retreat leader and certified recovery coach. With over a decade of experience, Mary incorporates her education in the psychology and neuroscience of mental health and training in somatic experiencing, a body-oriented therapeutic model for healing trauma and stress-related disorders to support others on their healing journeys. She has hosted over 50+ retreats in pristine wilderness destinations across the globe, combining her passions for yoga and wellness, nature and community. Mary is endlessly awed by the power of outdoor adventures to ignite the human spirit.
Emily Bingham
Emily is a Certified Spiritual Life Coach, Grief Educator, author of *Love & Grief*, and Temple Guide. Over the past five years, she has supported hundreds of clients, led retreats, and built a global online community. Her training includes Dharma and Spiritual Life Coaching, grief education with David Kessler, and Temple Guide facilitation through the 13 Moon Mystery School.

Fly into Madeira International Airport (FNC). From there, it’s a scenic 45–60 minute drive to the retreat home tucked between mountains and sea. Mary Tilson Yoga will help coordinate airport transfers so your arrival feels calm, welcoming, and easeful.
Cancellation Policy
- A reservation requires a deposit of 14% of the total price.
- The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
- The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
