Yoga and meditation
Ladan Soltani's retreats welcome practitioners of all levels, attracting a diverse mix of attendees. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced student, Ladan Soltani can cater to your individual needs. The style of yoga varies, as she's trained in several disciplines, including Sivananda (Hatha style) and Ashtanga. I can make adaptations for the group or offer individual modifications. For those seeking more challenge, she can provide advanced versions of the postures.
Ladan Soltani's retreat welcomes practitioners of all levels, and she looks forward to working with you on the mat.
A typical day
Each morning, you’ll begin the day with a yoga class, followed by a healthy, vegetarian brunch made from locally sourced ingredients and prepared by one of the island’s top chefs. All dietary requirements can be catered for, including vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free options. The chef is also a cooking instructor who runs a school focused on healthy eating and living, helping people achieve well-being through food.
Every dish on the menu has been carefully curated with attention to flavor, presentation, and balance, ensuring a thoughtful and satisfying dining experience from start to finish.
The evening sessions will offer a variety of practices such as Yin yoga, Yoga Nidra, breathwork, and guided meditation, all followed by a delicious dinner.
Between the morning and evening sessions, you’ll have plenty of time to explore the island’s wonders and learn about its rich history. Alternatively, you can relax at the villa with a soothing massage or unwind with a book by the pool.

Timanfaya National Park’s rocky landscape was created by volcanic eruptions in the 1730s. Cueva de los Verdes has caverns formed by an underground river of lava. Driving directions from Lanzarote Airport (ACE)

- Take the first exit to "Playa Honda".
- At the first mini roundabout, take the second exit and keep straight parallel to the motorway.
- At the next big roundabout, take the third exit under the motorway.
- Go straight over the next roundabout and follow the signs to "San Bartolomé".
- After passing through “San Bartolomé,” you come to a roundabout, on the other side of which is the tall white “Monumento del Campesino” (one of the first works of Cesar Manrique, showing clearly the influence of Picasso and Cubism). Take the second exit to “Tinajo and Mozaga.”
- At the next roundabout, take the second exit to "Tinajo”.
- Pass through the village of “Tao” and then through the village of “Tiagua”.
- As you exit the village of “Tiagua”, keep left towards “Mancha Blanca” and “Timanfaya”.
- “La Vegueta” is the next village.
- One kilometer further, you will arrive at the crossroads in the village of “La Vegueta”.
- You will see a small football pitch on your left and a local shop with a yellow letterbox on your right.
- After 400 meters on your right, there is a large pink house set back from the road. After 20 meters, where the road starts to go down slightly, turn left into “Camino las Huertitas”. The sign is not very visible.
- After another 400 meters, just before the white wall of the first house on this road, turn right where you see an “Amatista” sign with an arrow on it (if you miss that turn, you will end up in a cul-de-sac).
- Follow the road up and around to the left another 500 meters. On your left, before the end of this road, you will see first the number nine and shortly afterwards the number 11 with the entrance sign for Villa Amatista. If you go around another corner, you have come too far.
