Lanzarote, one of the Canary Islands off the coast of West Africa administered by Spain, is known for its year-round warm weather, beaches, and volcanic landscape. Timanfaya National Park’s rocky landscape was created by volcanic eruptions in the 1730s. Cueva de los Verdes has caverns formed by an underground river of lava. East-coast resort Puerto del Carmen is home to whitewashed villas, beaches, and dive centers.
6 daily deluxe brunches and 5 delicious, vegetarian evening meals will be served during the retreat.
There will be plenty of time in between the yoga sessions to venture and explore the Island. Therefore, it is advisable to rent a car.
Many of Lanzarote’s attractions are of volcanic rock. Some of the wonderful places to visit that show the creative force of past volcanic eruptions are the fire mountains in the National Park of Timanfaya. The lava caves, Cuevas de los Verdes, and the green lake in El Golfo.
