Program
The Indiv Yoga RYT-200 hours yoga teacher training is Yoga Alliance certified integral course with a therapeutic focus on the individual, and adapting Hatha and Vinyasa yoga for groups and private classes.
While maintaining the integrity of the yoga traditions and philosophy, the course explores the science behind your body and mind connection, its relation to yoga and meditation in the modern world, and adapting yoga for the individual. It is a comprehensive foundational course for yogis to teach worldwide with high professional standards, confidence, and a focus on the individual therapeutics.
With this training, you won’t limit yourself to teaching just one yoga style. You will become a full rounded, knowledgeable professional, who is able to tailor yoga classes to a variety of physical and mental demands.
Eligibility criteria
- Minimum one year of regular yoga classes and practice
- Good command of the English language
- Good fitness, in which at least two hours of asana practice is done a day
- Evaluations of seven yoga classes prior to the course

Requirements for receiving your diploma
- Attend every day of the course
- Course work - to be submitted up to three months after the last day of the course
- Practical exam - successfully lead a 90 minutes’ yoga class while safely assisting inversions
- Written exam - achieve a passing mark of 80%
Please note that if you do not intend to teach after taking the course, you do not have to submit the coursework, or pass the practical, or written exam.

Instructors
Charlie Stewart-Brown
Charlie is the voice of the ‘Yoga & Mindfulness Program’ on British Airways long-haul flights and founded Indiv Yoga in 2009. With more than 1600 training, Charlie has certified over 400 teachers around the world and holds the highest yoga qualifications as an ERYT500 (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher 500hrs), RCYT (Registered Children´s Yoga Teacher), RPYT (Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher), and YCEP (Yoga Continued Education Provider) with the Yoga Alliance. She started yoga and meditation in the mid 1990's as a recommendation for her chronic anxiety.
Retreat location
This retreat will take place in Nyon, Lake Geneva, Switzerland. Nyon is a municipality in the district of Nyon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland. It is located some 25 kilometers north east of Geneva's city center, and since the 1970s, it has become part of the Geneva metropolitan area. Nyon, Lake Geneva, Switzerland. The spick-and-span little town of Nyon is situated on Lake Geneva, half way between Geneva and Lausanne, amid the vineyards of La Côte.

Arboretum in Aubonne
In the valley of the Aubonne in 1963, the canton of Vaud established Switzerland's first arboretum, where there are 3000 indigenous and imported species of tree to be seen.
La Dôle
Standing at 1,677 meters, this mighty, rocky crag sits above Nyon, with almost alpine vegetation and a panorama over Lake Geneva, the city of Geneva, and the alps of the Valais, extending as far as Mont Blanc.
La Garenne zoo in Le Vaud
Take a glimpse into the European animal world, with wolves, lynx, foxes, reptiles, and a large number of European birds of prey in this attractive grounds.
Museum of Lake Geneva
Find out information about the origins of the lake, its fauna and flora, and the history of shipping, fishing. There is also a children's workshop.
Old Town
Arcades similar to those in Berne and a castle with five round towers, dating partly from the 13th century.
Prangins castle
Just a few kilometers outside Nyon, there is a section of the Swiss National Museum housed there. In this very attractive setting, under the title "The Way to the Present", the history of Switzerland in the 18th and 19th century is unfolded.

The Vaud Jura park
This is a 75 kilometers squared of sunlit forest and meadow landscape of national importance, with good viewpoints. The information center can be found in St. George.
