Detox yourself physically and mentally
Yoga and Ayurveda retreat in Rishikesh is deeply embedded and rooted within Ayurveda, the oldest medical science of Indian Vedic history. Ayurvedic detoxification helps in curing diseases through various techniques and gives answers to a lot of problems and challenges caused by the modern, fast-paced lifestyle.
The curing techniques listed in the Ayurvedic textbook not only give immediate relief but help in the complete removal of the physical and mental challenges. Thus, in the recent era, more and more people are adopting an Ayurvedic lifestyle to continuously rejuvenate themselves and to improve their overall quality of life and wellbeing.
One of the most important methods for curing various health challenges from the body is Ayurvedic healing therapies. The word detoxification means to sanctify and includes mind, body, and soul.
By cleansing, resting, and nourishing the body, mind, and soul, Ayurvedic detoxification helps in eliminating toxins substances from the body and thus it improves the body's overall efficiency and supplies important and health-improving nutrients.
Ayurvedic detoxification by various therapies
Ayurvedic detoxification in combination with individually selected therapies and a Rishikesh ashram stay makes it more effective in supporting optimal mental and physical health by eliminating the diseases and toxins from the body.
The process of Ayurvedic detoxification includes cleansing of blood, kidney, lungs, intestines, skin, and lymphatic system by removing impurities and toxins.
In contrast to conventional methods, which are focusing mainly on physical healing, Ayurvedic detoxification puts just as much emphasis on the improvement of the mental state and health of the person. Meditation and pranayama exercises result in mental upliftment by restoring the calmness of the mind and soul.
Also, detox therapies in Ayurveda assist in removing the negative, unbalanced Doshas from the body and thus help to improve and maintain mental balance. The ancient Vedic science is truly whole-body healing: Mind, body, and soul.
Whole body healing
Ayurvedic healing therapies promotes mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. An Ayurvedic yogic diet keeps your body, mind, and soul calm and prevents illness. Diet served by their yoga school during your detoxification program is strictly in accordance with the Ayurvedic texts that include sattvic, fresh, and organic food which comes directly from local farmers.
Their Ayurvedic detoxification therapies help to balance each individual doshas i.e., Vata, Pitta, and Kapha, and the five elements of the human body - Vayu (air), Teja (fire), Jala (water), Prithvi (earth), and Aakash (space). This Ayurvedic detoxification therapy restores the balance in your body by harmonizing the systems eliminating toxin matters.
They follow a holistic approach combining yoga, meditation, Ayurvedic therapies, and a yogic diet for the detoxification of the body. This will embark on the journey towards the process of self-cultivation.

Their Ayurvedic detoxification program is a blend of physical and mental detoxification sessions.
