As the outer world becomes less predictable, it is necessary to acquire tools that help you master your own inner world. That's exactly what Dijan's teachings are about. Their 200-hour course will run online until the end of 2020. The lecture and practice videos will be released on the same day as they would’ve been taught in person. This way you can all still do it together, wherever you are.
Students who complete their training are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
Contact hours (live session hours or coaching hours): approx. 30 hours. Non-contact hours (self-study hours) 170 hours. Online tools needed: Zoom, WhatsApp, and Facebook.
The online 200-hour intensive training program is a complete immersion into the science of meditation and traditional Tantric Hatha yoga, including over 90 lectures and practices, plus live online support to help you evolve your practice and your life. If you are already teaching, this training will offer you the precise tools to potentize your classes and take your students to profound new depths.
The course includes more than 90 high-quality videos, including approximately:
Additionally, the team will be available live (minimum 2 times) throughout the week for you personally via video call as well as holding weekly sharing circles for the whole group. Plus, they have a virtual space of the designated 200-hour closed Facebook group to answer any questions that may come up during the day as well as to interact and exchange with other students. Each live Q&A session will be approximately 90 minutes long. Once you enroll, you immediately get access to pre-recorded teachings dripped according to the content flow of our course. Dijan runs the live component of 4 weeks during the following periods: August 26 to September 22, September 26 to October 23, October 27 to November 23, November 27 to December 24. You will be joining the live component closest to your enrollment day.
The course duration will depend on your availability and the completion of the live component. In general, Dijan recommends the participants to complete the course minimum in 5 weeks and maximum in 12 weeks.
You will have course material access during the course duration plus 1 additional week for review and self-study.
Live sessions will be scheduled according to the geographical distribution of the students. All meditation sessions will be recorded and uploaded in the MYTTC archives.
The suggested daily flow of activities for 6 days of each week for 4 weeks is as follows; however, you can complete this course in your own pace in a mutually agreed extended period:
The Samyama meditation and yoga 200-hour yoga teacher training is a 28-day journey divided into 4 cycles of 6 days with a day off in between each cycle. Each participant needs to complete a live cycle of 4 weeks; however all pre-recorded teachings can be completed in your own pace according to a mutually agreed upon time-frame.
The teachers are dedicated and accomplished yogis/yoginis. They all have a solid background in yoga and meditation, and a regular personal practice. They will share their diverse gifts and skills with you from an authentic and heart-centered place of service.
In addition to the pre-recorded sessions, you will have daily synchronized meditation sessions, many live Q&As, and one-to-one meetings to keep the connection and transmission strong.
Everyone has their own unique journey with yoga and meditation. It’s not a one-size-fits-all kind of practice. Dijan values the importance of one-on-one attention by keeping the group small, offering each student a teacher/mentor they can go to with questions, and creating a buddy system.
