Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra, also called the yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between sleeping and waking. It is an ancient relaxation technique to recover body, mind, and spirit.
We are going to have regular yoga Nidra sessions to give you the possibility to experience the physical and mental effects of this meditation technique. You will learn how to write a yoga Nidra script and how to incorporate it in your yoga classes. We are going to discuss the theory behind this powerful technique, its benefits, and how to use it to establish healthy habits.
Sukshma Vyayama
Sukshma Vyayama techniques are very powerful yogic practices that remove energy blockages and activate the subtle pranic body. They are small repetitive strengthening and stretching movements synchronized with the breath to rejuvenate your joints and develop cellular consciousness.
In this advanced course, we are covering the complete series of 48 yogic sukshma vyayama excercises introduced by Sri Dhirendra Bhramchari.
Chakra meditation
Chakras are energy centers located in your pranic body. They connect your physical and spiritual bodies and affect your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Located along our spinal cord, we have seven main chakras.
For optimal health, it is important for the chakras to be open and turning. Chakra meditation is a powerful technique to activate and purify your chakras. When the chakras are aligned, there are no blockages in the physical, mental, and spiritual areas. You feel energetic, stable, and in your center.
Patanjali Yoga Sutras
Patanjali collected and organized knowledge about yoga and summarized it in the "Yoga sutras." This very practical approach is about self-experience and experimenting with different practices and finding these that support you on your way to Samadhi. In this course, we will discuss the yoga sutras and go beyond the eight limbs of yoga.
Hatha yoga scriptures
Hatha yoga is a system for spiritual development and includes various practices to reach the union of body, mind, and soul. The most detailed manuals describing these practices are the Gheranda Samhita and Hatha Yoga Pradipika. We are covering these texts and the respective techniques in the course.
Ayurveda
Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems, based on the idea that disease emerges when the three doshas are out of balance and move from a state of prakarti to vikruti.
We would like to give you a deeper understanding of the foundation of Ayurveda, the three doshas and the five elements as key aspects, the sapta dhautus, daily and seasonal routines, dosha specific diets, tips for traveling, and much more.
