Yogi Hari’s Ashram is an oasis for spiritual aspirants who seek a retreat from the stressful and hectic world and experience Sampoorna Yoga with Yogi Hari.
Shri Yogi Hari is a master of Sampoorna yoga (yoga of fullness). He is well-known and respected around the world as an exceptionally inspiring teacher and guru. At the age of 22, he was labeled as a medicated incurable. By the grace of God, he was introduced to yoga and he knew right away that this was what he should be living and practicing in his life. For eight years, he practiced with intense dedication and, in that time, he transformed his whole body into a state of perfect health.
Chitra is an experienced yoga teacher and has a Diploma in Ayurvedic Sciences from Kerala Ayurveda and is an accomplished Indian classical dancer. Chitra teaches many retreats around the world for adults and children and founded an organization named New Age Kids Inc., a sincere effort to generate well-balanced individuals with a sense of self. She was the first to create the Yoga Teacher Training Course for Youth ages 16 to 21. She has 10 guided meditations and six mantra CDs to her name. They have proven to reduce stress and confusion for children, propagating a healthy lifestyle for them.
Sangita Sukhu, a young and passionate yoga teacher, has dedicated her life to the practice and teachings of Sampoorna Yoga. At the age of 22, Sangita embodies the wisdom and grace that come from a lifetime immersed in the world of yoga. Born into a yogic family, Sangita's journey began even before her birth. Her parents, Yogi Hari and Devi Sukhu, are renowned yogis who established an ashram dedicated to the practice of Sampoorna yoga. As Yogi Hari's daughter, Sangita grew up surrounded by the serene atmosphere of the ashram, where she imbibed the ancient teachings of yoga from an early age.

Yogi Hari hand crafts the entire training experience for the students to both immerse themselves in learning and practicing yoga, but also to experience an actual "retreat" away from your otherwise everyday life. I feel this was an optimal approach in my opinion. The experience at the ashram specifically plans for and is designed around yoga as a way of life, a way or state of being/mind, and rightly so. It is also designed to take you out of your comfort zone, which teaching yoga will inevitably do anyway. i can greatly appreciate and enjoyed the time in the morning and evening set aside for chanting, meditation, and singing! Everything you are served by the Karma Yogis is grown on site. I have never enjoyed eating such healthy foods more in my life. Each of our teachers were top of the line with many years of experience. Rama is inspiration walking! Ambica is an Angel. Amrita and Maha Shakti are both fabulous. Each has their own style, and each are masters at teaching Sampoorna. When it comes to learning yoga, you are in good hands.

Rama is an absolutely amazing instructor, and I wish him and his wife Sita a beautiful life of peace and joy. I am incredible impressed with the way he conducted himself, respectfully and with care for his students while still challenging us to achieve our highest potential. With Rama's guidance, I was able to see the real possibilities of my strength, which was completely transformational for my confidence and spirit. Yogi Hari Asharm
The ashram has been in business for 40 years, Guru Yogi Hari had been teaching for over 40+ years and had great reviews & a few bad ones. I was drawn to the spiritual aspect and the years of experience Guru Yogi Hari had.
When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by the structure of the program, I am a basic women looking to grow spiritually and earn my yoga teachers certification.
The instructor Rama is one of most impressive instructors I have had the pleasure of meeting and being taught by. Rama lives his practice in every thing he does and he transfers that into his teaching and you are brought to an understanding the practice is set up for non-harming while charging you being, Rama was very detailed about asanas, Rama is respectful and teaches with Integrity. Rama is very Dedicated to Sampoorna yoga and its practices, which is taught on a daily basis, the program Rama follows is practical and helpful for daily living.
This school is passionate about Nada & Bhakti yoga prayer & chanting - so if chanting isn’t for you, you might not want to choose this Ashram because they teach a lot about Nada & Bhakti yoga.
That being said if you have any desire to learn Nada & Bhakti yoga this is the ashram is definitely for you because Guru Yogi Hari prides himself on his musical talent, along with Rama they can move the spirit world, if you allow yourself to receive instead of getting

"Living and Learning in the Ashram"
I had the pleasure to live and learn at Shri Yogi Hari's Ashram for two weeks while working toward my 200 hour YTT with the most dynamically diverse group of like-minded individuals I have ever encountered. Our class instantly connected and continued to encourage each other throughout our stay and beyond. Each day solemnly began with Satsang-meditation and chanting often led by by Shri Yogi Hari. We were honored to have him lead lectures and even sun salutations one morning. Rasa provided deliciously nourishing meals, beautiful song and relatable lectures. Rama instructed Hatha yoga classes and led lectures during the day. His passion through years of practice was evident through his teaching. Each of them brought varying perspectives, unique personalities which came across in their caring and compassionate attitudes. In the afternoon, we participated in karma yoga with the assistance of the ever enchanting and eternally blissful disciples who commit their time and energy toward the upkeep of the ashram. Varying neccessary duties were performed from cleaning and food prep indoors to weeding and gardening outdoors. The accommodations were simple shared spaces reminding me of summer camp. My roommate from Arizona was the most beautiful soul. We remain in contact and will continue to as we continue our journey throughout this life. The value of what was paid for the experience I received was absolutely unbeatable. I will forever treasure the experience.

"Divine Life!"
Shri Yogi Hari has done a wonderful job in creating this little piece of paradise. He emphasizes simplicity and non-greediness. That being said, there's just enough for every one. The schedule and discipline was encouraging and energizing. Starting each morning with silence, meditation, and chanting. Followed by a Hatha yoga class that increased in difficulty a little each day and then a light breakfast. This is how all days should be started. Rama was our main yoga instructor; his genuine enthusiasm and Love for yoga and his Guru is apparent and really inspired me as a student. He was super easy to learn from and work with during Karma yoga. Karma yoga involved a designated hour each day where we selflessly helped out around the ashram, fulfilling whatever tasks needed to be done at the time. The team here, led by Divine Rasa really do a great job at making life at the ashram smooth, efficient, and peaceful! Shri Yogi Hari's knowledge is Real and impactful. He does not sugarcoat! Which I personally appreciated. There's no better place to learn from a True Yogi Master in America. Shri Yogi Hari has earned his title of Guru; he demonstrates perfection and just wants every one else to also know that

"You can't please everyone!"
I came into this training with an open mind as anyone should before a new experience. When you have unrealistic expectations in your head, of course you are going to be disappointed like some from this program were.
I enjoyed the chanting, food, lectures, Karma Yoga and fresh lychees! I also loved being cut off from society for a couple weeks.
I also liked the POSITIVE people I associated with. It's easy to get your vibe brought down if you feed off other peoples negativity.
For the price you really can't beat this experience or the genuine connections you form along the way. The friends I made kept me sane and I'm so grateful we made the most of this.

*Using this as more space, the character limit below didn't let me get far*
The food is hit or miss not just in quality but in quantity as well!! Some days there were 3 catering pans or soup tourines, some days it was one tray of food. It was insane like they forgot how many of us there were from day to day. *GLUTEN FREE AND FOOD ALLERGEN REQUESTS WERE COMPLETELY IGNORED* several people specifically spelled out that they had either a nut allergy or a fruit allergy on their application and then also had to voice their needs every single day to the same exact staff anyways. Clearly they don't look at the executed forms. Don't let anyone fool you it says you can get asked to leave for alcohol or smoking or coffee on site but in actuality they do not abide by THEIR OWN handbook policies. Everyone completed the program even though there were 7 different students openly vaping, taking edibles, coffee cups and nips in the trash. The coordinator is split in 19 different directions and seems to be the only one there doing anything. She's either incapable of delegating to the VERY FEW staff people below her or hasn't taken time to train them. If you're going to welcome people from all over the world into your property for yoga training you need to be prepared to feed them adequately, and train them properly. Very pushy on asking students to sign on to stay at the ashram which became more alarming, there are even questions about it on the final exam, completely unrelated to the course.

You can receive your certificate in a shorter amount of time than most 200-hour TTC programs. The price is unbeatable for the U.S. (you can definitely find cheaper abroad especially in India). I enjoyed the food and I loved my TTC group. We were only a group of 13 which I liked as opposed to a larger group, and we all got along great. "Yoga Coronafication "
The ashram is a peaceful place with beautiful scenery. You can really enjoy being away from civilization, and focus on your studies. The workers at the ashram tried everything they could to accommodate us, make us feel safe, and reassure us while we were worried about the growing threat of the corona situation in the United States. There was a lot of work, and studying required to make the 200 hour certification program possible in a two week time frame, but Rama and Rasa were never too busy to listen to our concerns. At first the long hours of sitting on the floor had me feeling sore. When Rama told me I can sit in a chair it eliminated the problem for the rest of the training. Our strict 2 meal vegetarian diet allowed me to lose around 10 pounds. We practiced two hatha yoga classes every day and the backpain that I experience daily began to disappear.

"Excellent! More than I expected."
This 200H training was my ideal experience, so I would like to say it went beyond my expectation. I kind of understood that if I was at the door of true knowledge or yoga path, I would definitely feel uncomfortable at first, I believe many of us really experienced that period of struggling and stressed time, because we won't get used to the life in ashram immediately( or right way to live our lives in the world), we need to struggle against something we have been used to and gradually live on the natrual right path. I learned I need to get rid of my tamas,my ego, a lot of unnecessary stuff which does not serve me any more for seeking for my higher self. I learned the pure joy from giving and serving in our daily karma yoga. Day by day as coronavirus spreaded wildly in the world, we all are facing our challenges in our lives, some students' flights got cancelled, they still stayed in ashram, I can feel everyone is truely grateful for what we have reaped in the last 2 weeks journey. Personnaly I found peace in an intangible way in Yogi Hari's Ashram. I feel so blessed and grateful for everything this training has offered. Rama, Rasa,Utah and Yogi Hari are doing the right thing, they are all lovely. Namaste🙏

I attended YTT at Yogi Hari's Ashram in January 2020. This course laid a beautiful foundation for a sustainable yoga practice in Sampoorna Yoga. Sampoorna Yoga, and its logical sequence developed by Yogi Hari, is a revolutionary style of yoga that deserves to be shared widely. I grew as a yogi and person from the nourishing meals, careful asana instruction from Rama, mantras and chanting in satsang, and the teachings of Yogi Hari. The spiritual teachings here are devotional, but I would not categorize them as dogmatic or strictly within one religious framework which spoke to me. There is also emphasis on how to live productive, joyful, and healthy lives through the practice of Sampoorna Yoga by treating life as a systems based approach, rather than a problem-solution approach. The people who completed the training with me were my greatest teachers and mirrors. I am grateful for my training here. Herbal tea was lovely- thank you tea fairy (Karunija).

Sampoorna Yoga is a complete system and has so much to offer all walks of life.
A+ Hatha,
I am so grateful and appreciative of the experience i could get no where else in North America. I truly appreciated the full aspect of ashram life and the dedication to Guru Yogi Hari. The property is a peaceful Paradise with fruit trees like coconuts which you can purchase chop and drink for $2. I Drank one daily to keep myself hydrated fully. You dive in immediately from day one with Hatha yoga practice twice a day. Book end your day with dedicated, group silent meditation time and shared chanting that unlocks your chakras. It calms and settles your overworking mind so you drop into your body. Live life now.
This a truly an opportunity to let go, Give up your EGO self, delve into true being and let your divinity shine.
Guru Yogi Hari is a genuine, authentic, not messing around and so funny. You can feel his passion and dedication as a kind compassionate and joyous Guru. Leading and sharing the teachings of the the yogic life for over 40 years now. Living On the property helped me to heal from within, find peace and reconnect with my inner truth of unconditional love and joyful bliss that i had recently forgotten. All of the disciples are genuine, kind and willing to be of service. Thankfully, They will not leave you hanging and will gladly show how to become self sufficient to take care of things yourself;)

I love how I found out the true lineage of yoga and not some westernized version. I love the history, all the great wisdom, knowledge and experience I gained. I loved ramas gentle yet firm way of correcting us and guiding us threw Hatha yoga. Thank you yogi Hari for the chanting and quiet meditation in the morning it will be, along with practice of asanas, my biggest take home. "An Immersive Yoga Experience"
From early in the morning till night-time, I learned what a fully immersed experience meant. At the ashram, we were exposed to many yogic paths, and I personally enjoyed learning about Jnana and Nada Yoga. Before Hatha in the morning and after it in the evening, we gathered in Satsang for meditation, chanting and lectures central to forming a foundational understanding of yogic philosophy. Through Guru Yogi Hari's guidance and the guidance of his disciples, we learned so much. Meditation became easier.
I also enjoyed learning about the yogic diet. We followed a vegetarian diet with vegan options. It wasn’t long before I began to feel the benefits of proper eating. Learning about the different food qualities helped me understand why certain foods create lethargy and sickness. Practicing the moderation taught through Ashtanga Yoga helped create the conditions needed to advance my practice.
Yogi Hari displayed great knowledge and the ability to share it with others effectively. This program deepened my understanding of yoga in a way that seems impossible outside of an ashram’s environment. . I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn and teach a classical form of yoga from the Sivananda linage.

"Yoga of fullness Body, Mind and Spirit "
I reside in Georgia in early summer I was looking for a teacher training class to complete a 200 hr yoga teacher certificate. As I was searching the web noticed the Yogi Hari’s Ashram and decided to learn more about it. I purchased the book Sampoorna Yoga and after reading it, I registered for the training in August.
What an amazing journey the life at Yogi Hari’s Ashram it has been and the wealth of knowledge that I have gained during this training.
Thank you to Yogi Hari's extraordinarily teaching Sampoorna yoga of fullness that address all aspects of mind, body and spirit. A beautiful garden of peace and love he has created in South Florida. The garden has fresh organic fruits and vegetables especially delicious fresh coconuts. As we practiced our Karma yoga daily, we worked as a group in the garden and the house to prepare for meals and enjoy along with our practice of yoga asana, singing and chanting, meditation, and study of yogic philosophy.
This was an experience of a lifetime for me and I am forever grateful to Guruji for finding my voice.
I met wonderful people from around the world at this ashram and will continue to keep in touch with them for many years to come.
I will definitely go back for additional training in the near future.
I give thanks to Guruji, Rasa, Radha and Ambika for sharing there blessing of yoga.

The ashram is on a beautiful sacred land. I loved the classes outside. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was very delicious everyday, which you can help to cook if you fancy doing your karma yoga sessions in the kitchen. This course will fill you with great spiritual and physical knowledge of the yogic lifestyle. The sequence is a very good base that you can move forward with. I personally improved so much in my practice during the 2 weeks. There is a lot of chanting and singing in this course, which I really enjoyed. Before I didn't really like chanting even Om during a class, now I can't stop it and singing Jaya Ganesha! "Everything I needed "
I just got done with a two week yoga teacher training. It is difficult to leave and return to the world. The ashram is simple and run mostly by volunteers that work from 5am to 10pm and beyond to maintain the place as well as cook, study, chant and more. I learned so much about myself and am eternally grateful for the experience. Yogi Hari made many sacrifices and has spent a lifetime gathering and sharing wisdom and creating a sanctuary for self-reflection and liberation. It is an ashram and not a resort, so go in open-minded, be respectful of the path of the Guru and disciples and I'm certain you will leave a much lighter, happier and more joyful than you have felt since you were a child.
