The Bee & Bear is a boutique, three-story, four-bedroom lodge, situated on 16 acres of private land, adjacent to the family ranch, and nestled between the Rocky Mountains and Alberta Prairies. Featuring sprawling ranchland, porch-side mountain views, and epic wildlife sightings, this lodge is the perfect haven for small groups seeking a getaway destination filled with nature, connection, and adventure.
The Bee & Bear offers a unique blend of rustic western architecture, modern comforts, and southern hospitality. Every detail is designed to impart a sense of wonder and tranquility, setting the tone for your stay.
4 private bedrooms - Each room offers the utmost comfort and flexibility for your stay. One room is furnished with two queen beds, while the other three boast luxurious king beds, which can be converted into twin beds upon request. Two-bed suites are available, each with a private bathroom.
This makes it a great opportunity for individuals traveling solo who are open to making new friends and don’t mind sharing a room, as well as for friends or couples who are attending together.
5 spacious bathrooms - Enjoy three full-service bathrooms. one-half bathroom, and one spacious main bathroom featuring a clawfoot bathtub with panoramic mountain views and a fireplace.
Dream kitchen - The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to create delicious meals, including a gas stove, which, during this retreat, will be used for one of the workshops. A coffee and tea bar will also be available during the whole retreat.
Tranquil den - This is one of the favorite spots to kick back and relax with friends next to the fireplace. Enjoy mountain views through the south-facing windows and glass doors that lead to the wrap-around balcony - the perfect place for morning coffee or late-night stargazing.
Modern library - Enjoy a diverse and eclectic library, including local interests and history, popular novels, interesting thought pieces, and some of the most favorites - James Herriot and Brené Brown's works.
Spacious yoga and activity haven - The perfect place to curl up with a blanket and book after a day of activities and outdoor exploration. Or, find your inner balance in the dedicated yoga space, equipped with mats, blocks, and blankets.

Sarka Huber
Sarka is a fitness professional with over two decades of experience in the health and wellness industry. Her passion lies in helping individuals discover a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle through personalized yoga sessions, dynamic fitness classes, and rejuvenating retreats. She holds a degree in Public Health & Human Nutrition from Charles University in Prague, as well as a degree in Fitness Management & Nutritional Coaching from the University of Prevention and Health Management in Saarbrücken, Germany. A lifelong learner, she is also a certified yoga teacher and group fitness instructor.
