Yoga Retreats (5)
Gigi has been a devoted practitioner of yoga for more than a decade and teaches alignment-based flow. Her classes are strong and focused while supportive and introspective. Gigi has led yoga retreats in Mexico, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua and has traveled extensively in Asia, Europe, and Africa. Gigi believes that both yoga and travel are a means of connection and is passionate about creating spaces for adventure and growth. Gigi was Traverse Journeys instructor for the November 2017 Nicaragua Yoga and Surf retreat and teaches weekly public classes at Practice Yoga Austin.
Leti began her yoga journey years ago and has remained deeply committed to living her yoga. She offers empowering, inspiring flows that encourage students to explore and connect with their deeper authentic self. Leti meets students exactly where they are and encourages them to embrace their own unique experiences. Leti loves yoga for all its transformative powers - physical and spiritual - and emphatically knows yoga is her “health insurance.” Leti caters to students of all levels and abilities and ensures that everyone feels welcome and comfortable from day one.
Kiran Bhatta is from Gorkha, Nepal, and shares his love of history, culture, geography, and archeology with the hundreds of travelers that he guides through Nepal each year. Kiran received his Masters in English literature as well as training by the Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management and is also the president of Bhimarsha Youth Foundation Nepal. Meeting new people and interacting with them is one of Kiran’s favorite things, and he believes that if travelers can enjoy the authenticity of the places they travel, then their travels are a success.
Gina is a pilgrim, yogi, spirited traveler, writer, choreographer, and a genuine seeker. In May 2014, she began her first pilgrimage along the ancient Camino de Santiago - 35 days of pilgrimage, prayer, love, adventure, nature, history, albergues, cathedrals, international friendships, various vino tintos, and soulful transformation. Gina holds a 200 RYT and 300 RYT certification and believes in the transformative power of travel. Her classes are spunky and passionate, welcoming and sweet, with a focus on empowerment through encouragement. She teaches classes in Asheville, North Carolina.
Originally from Austin, Texas Jade Witham moved to Morocco in 2014 and has been discovering the country and its amazing culture ever since. A lover of travel, food and yoga - in no particular order - Jade spends her time making friends all over the world, planning her next travels and expanding her yoga practice. Jade has attended yoga teacher trainings in Morocco and India, which has helped her develop a unique teaching style with emphasis on fun, self-love, body positivity, and curiosity.
Sophia Hyder Hock
Sophia Hock has been practicing yoga on the mat for over 20 years, but she found her true calling to be a yoga instructor in 2017 after the passing of her mother. Through this experience, she found solace in taking her practice to a deeper level by learning how to integrate yoga into her daily life on and off the mat through meditation and mindfulness principles. Sophia teaches all levels vinyasa flow classes that inspire people to become aware of their authentic self without judgement.
