"Excellent retreat"

I recently attended the Lakes yoga and paddleboard retreat. The retreat was really well planned and very inclusive, which was great as I was a solo attendee. Jen is an excellent teacher and the yoga on the paddleboard was amazing, helped by glorious weather. The mix of activities worked well together, all nourished by some wonderful vegetarian food. I look forward to doing another retreat with Jen.

"Lake District Yoga Adventure"

The short break we had in the Lake District was amazing. Jen and the team provided a welcoming and relaxing environment which included a variety of activities, such as paddle board yoga and wild swimming.

We had a mixed age group of people attending which made for an enjoyable time away with lots of laughter and chatter.

Jen made the extra effort to celebrate the birthdays of two of the ladies attending the retreat.

All in all I would throughly recommend The Wild Times retreats.

"Perfect Retreat"

I love yoga and paddleboarding, so this retreat was the perfect combination. Jenny is a great instructor, very inclusive, chilled, down to earth and overall just really nice. The group size was great as well, not too small and not too big.

I never had done sound bath before, that was amazing. As was actually having a proper yoga session on the paddleboard - didn't expect that.

The accommodation was by the lake, very picturesque and lovely.

Food was amazing.

Definitely will try and book with Jenny again, loved it.

"Yoga, nature, SUP"

I really needed this, met amazing people, yoga classes and meditation classes were great (various options given). Jenny was friendly and very welcoming. Vegetarian food was fantastic. Accommodation was all different types of huts and yurts, but very much glamping experience, back to the nature with forest walks. Definitely would book again.

"Excellent active retreat"

I attended this retreat by myself and was a little nervous at first but I didn't need to worry. Jenny was genuinely welcoming and allowed the group to adapt the break to what they wanted to get out of it. The SUP yoga was a definite highlight and I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming host and group. The food provided was all super yummy and really tasty. I'm already looking at booking my next retreat!

"Lovely experience "

This was my first yoga retreat and was a really lovely experience. Great people, beautiful location right by Rydal Water and a fabulous converted barn for the yoga. I thought the amount of free time was perfect, with plenty of opportunity to swim, hot tub, sauna, walk or explore local villages. SUP was really fun - hadn’t expected to be able to really do yoga on the paddleboard but we all did!

"Fantastic experience"

Jen did an amazing job, her positive vibes and energy really set the scene for a truly unforgettable experience. The yoga was varied and plentiful, and I loved the paddle board yoga and the gong bath (both a first for me). The location was perfect - tranquil and beautiful, and the food was wholesome and tasty. Overall it was a wonderful few days to reconnect with self and simplicity, and a complete break from the stresses of everyday life!

"An incredibly impactful reset for my mind and body"

The location and cottage were beautiful, Jenny has created a very warm, welcoming, and safe environment where you can join in and try new experiences without feeling any pressure. The food was so delicious, wholesome, and plentiful.

I loved everything about the weekend, My brain and body just had time to reboot and I met some really lovely and interesting people as an added bonus, the hike to the waterfall was amazing and made it so easy to chat to new people.

The Yoga and meditation were incredible, I felt challenged and cocooned in safety and kindness - Jenny has created a remarkable experience, with so many little extra touches. I can't recommend highly enough.

"Bliss"

There was so many fantastic experiences to be had here. You can do as much or as little as you want. The views, the people, the hikes the lakes, the waterfalls, the yoga, the space, the rest, the food, generally being looked after. No one was weird, it wasn’t a cult and Jenny is just the perfect host, she has thought about every single moment across the weekend to keep everyone both entertained and relaxed, and she is also just so cool. The weekend is the best thing you can do for your mind body and soul. It is just the absolute best and I cannot recommend enough.

I came home from this experience feeling elevated, nourished inside and out, inspired and brave. From start to end the retreat was beautifully crafted with activities that flowed so well together. The weather turned on us a bit but with Jen's juggling skills we were still able to do everything (if it felt right to you). With Jen's gentle, motivating and kind character the whole retreat felt like a giant warm ball of wholesome fun. Paddle board yoga is something I will definitely look into again. The venue had nearby badger spotting as well as the only access to a beautiful lake. The cottage was a dream with it's open fires, curious history, sauna and hot tub (and water bottle to take to bed!).

"Life changing"

The retreat exceeded my expectations. It was a perfect combination of activities and quiet time/time for reflection. We were treated to a sound bath, yoga before breakfast and before dinner, Paddleboarding and Yoga poses on a board, and a wild swim in a secret pool under a waterfall. The retreat enabled me to reaffirm and readjust and I left feeling uplifted and refreshed with an ambition to take up cold water swimming!

What a fab experience for someone who has never been on a yoga retreat. The yoga, mixed with SUP, hot tubs, sauna and good food and company was just fab. Jen was a fantastic host as well as a wonderful yoga instructor with just the right mix of fun and seriousness. I can highly recommend anyone to join The Wild Times.

"Wild times in the lakes "

The weekend was super enjoyable- Jen, the instructor, was an excellent teacher throughout all the activities and able to adapt all the exercises to a range of abilities. She went out of her way to make the trip enjoyable for everyone and her attention to detail was unrivalled. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Wild Times. The location, food and yoga instruction were all excellent. Jen is a real professional and a warm hearted guide who kindly helps you to progress your practice whatever level you at working at. A few extra surprises thrown in to make the trip even more memorable meant that if you wanted to relax between sessions or have additional chances to explore the location and be involved in activities, there were plenty of options available.

"Beautiful weekend"

I loved the location, panoramic sea views, the domes were unique but a comfortable glamping experience. The yoga was a tad challenging for me but it pushed me out of my comfort zone and I felt comfortable enough to rest when I needed to. The food was tasty and we had a very friendly, and inspiring group. The breath workshop was fascinating and has left me with a thirst to learn more!

"Could not recommend more "

As someone who struggles to step out of their comfort zone, the wild times allowed me to fully as comfortable as possible whilst doing this. It was my first time paddle boarding, as well as my first yoga retreat and everything met my expectations plus more. Jenny is so accommodating and just an overall lovely person who is a complete inspiration for all. I have been practicing yoga for a few years but I learned so much from Jenny and left feeling inspired. The food and location were exceptional too. Will definitely be returning to a wildtimes retreat in the future!

"Wonderful Wild Times!"

I can't recommend The Wild Times enough! My wife and I attended the Sept 3rd-5th retreat in the Lakes, and it was amazing. Jen is a wonderful host and teacher who makes you feel welcome and included from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave (which you won't want to!). Everything is extremely relaxed and you can participate as much or as little as you like in all the activities (although you definitely don't want to miss out on the SUP yoga - it's a fantastic experience!) and Jen's friendly, laid back style means even complete yoga and paddleboarding noobs like myself felt comfortable and involved.

Nab Cottage is beautiful and the backdrop of Rydal Water is stunning. Everything you'd expect from a Lakes retreat. The food provided was also excellent.

Thanks for a wonderful weekend Jen, keep doing what you're doing, and can't wait to see you next time we book a retreat! :)

"Rydal water "

By far the best retreat I have had the pleasure of being a part of. Jenny was warm and welcoming from the moment I and the other guests arrived, a fabulous yoga instructor and all round lovely person. The accommodation was beautiful, quirky and just perfect, food was stunning, we were very well fed! The activities were just brilliant, experiencing paddle boarding for the first time was a blast!! The swim in the waterfall was just magical. Massage was not available but there is so much to see outdoors in the area it wasn't really missed, with local caves, swimming in the lake, hot tub and sauna and a pub just down the road! I loved everything about the retreat and met some amazing ladies, the whole group got along brilliantly. If you're thinking about a retreat hosted by Jenny, just do it, you won't regret it! Thanks Jen and Georgie and all the staff at Nab Cottage for an amazing time 💗

From the start the welcome,the goody bags ,the surroundings ,being made to feel so welcome..access to the lake and paddle boards. Learning how to make fire on a little island on the lake. yoga on a sup, and the yoga studii. This is an experience i will carry in my heart.

"Joyful & wonderfully wild retreat"

This retreat was the most beautiful experience all round. Jen welcomed us with an open heart and offered a fun-packed time that went above and beyond what I had imagined it would be like. She is a kind and compassionate instructor who gives you space to explore and discover yourself whilst feeling safe and supported. There wasn't a dull moment as we went from afternoon tea to canoeing, SUP yoga, learning how to make fire, relaxation in the sauna, yin yoga and - a real highlight - hike and swim in a nearby waterfall. All experiences are invitations and the schedule is flexible to take time for rest and recovery as needed. Thank you to Jen and Will for this joyful and wonderfully wild adventure!

"The most amazing retreat"

I loved everything!! The location was incredible we stayed in the most beautiful cottage overlooking the lake. The yoga - was amazing. Jen is an amazing teacher and made me fall in love with yoga again. I've not been to a class in so long following an injury. I've just been doing YouTube videos but Jen reminded me the benefit of having a teacher and inspired me to find a class locally. Jen is a beautiful soul

She put me at ease straight away. The yoga classes were challenging for me (but not in an intimidating way). We got to do sup yoga - this was amazing. Loved being out my comfort zone. We got to learn bushcrafts with Will. I hadn't realised this was on the itinerary so it was a real bonus for me. Will again another fantastic human being. He was great and has such a passion for being out in nature. He taught us all how to light fires (something I can't wait to do now I'm home).

I went by myself and was a bit nervous about this before hand but there was a great dynamic in our group. You can participate as much or as little as you like - but Jen made everyone feel comfortable and welcome and it created a really close connection between us all. It felt like a little family - everyone was celebrating each others successes and supporting each other.

I cannot rate this experience more highly. The best thing I've done in so long. I've come home feeling amazing and wanting to book with Jen again as soon as possible. This lady is going to be a huge success.

"The Perfect Retreat 💚"

Jen was amazing as an instructor and laid on the perfect retreat that included everything from SUP and SUP yoga, to hiking, yoga and an exhilarating dip in the nearby waterfall. The food was scrummy, accommodation was cosy and Nab cottage full of character. There was a hot tub and sauna that I didn't get round to enjoying but more than made up for with a swim in Rydal. The pace was comfortable and our group came together harmoniously. My only request is that I would like to have stayed longer! Thank you Jen ~ I hope to be back 💚
